1 bedroom apartment to sleep 4 in central Cannes near the Palais and beaches

A beautiful and charming 2nd floor apartment with high ceilings in a small bourgeois building. Spacious living/dining room with open-plan fully-fitted kitchen; bedroom with double bed and sofa bed (double) in the living room; separate bathroom and separate toilet. A really bright apartment recently renovated, with air-conditioning and double glazing. The apartment is situated in rue Jean de Riouffe, ideal for all the amenities of Cannes.

Ideal for business and pleasure: Beautiful apartment for holidays or professional stay. A central location only 1 mn walking distance from the Palais des festival. Ideal and spacious for 2 persons with the possibility to sleep 4.

Fully equipped kitchen, including washing/drying machine and dishwasher.

On the second floor of a small charming building of only 3 floors, with one apartment to each floor, with high ceilings. Recently renovated, well decorated and furnished, with air conditioning and double glazing.

Whilst ideal for professionals that need access to the commerce of Cannes, especially the important conferences, the apartment also offers a great location for holidays, with access to beaches, shops, restaurants, etc only a few minutes' walk away.

Shopping and sightseeing in Cannes: Rue D'Antibes (50m) is the famous shopping street with shops for all styles and budgets - an ideal place to find the clothes you need. For foodies, Rue Meynadier is only 20 metres away: a stoned pedestrian street, famous for a variety that includes fish, cheese, traiteurs, fresh pastas and patisseries.

Le Marché Forville (300 metres away) is worth a visit to discover the area's local specialities, such as fruit, vegetables,fish, spices, flowers... and to enjoy the lively ambiance while sipping an espresso on the street-side Cafe Bar terrace.

Then there's Le Suquet, the old town and historic heart of Cannes. Walk up the lively Rue St Antoine, lined with typical restaurants to reach the beautiful panoramic view of Cannes and the croisette. En route, try the Musée de la Castre et l'Eglise Notre-Dame-d'Espérance.

Don't forget La Croisette, famous for the glamour of the Cannes Film Festival and luxurious stores, 5-star hotels, casino, bars and night clubs.

Les Iles de Lerins: The Lérins islands of Sainte Marguerite and Saint Honorat are 15mn away from Cannes - the departure jetty is a 7 minutes' walk from the apartment. A visit to the islands is a wonderful day trip by boat.

Sainte Marguerite is a fantastic place to walk, relax and swim in clear, emerald-green water.

Saint Honorat is well-known for its Abbey and Monastery, which date from the 16 century. Monks still live there and produce excellent wine and liquors.

Other parts of the Riviera are very accessible, without the need for a car. Grasse, Nice,Villefranche, Beaulieu, Monaco, Menton and Vintimille (Italy) are all reachable by local TER trains. With a car, you can also explore villages such as Gourdon, St Paul, Fayence...

Numerous golf courses are located a short drive from Cannes.These outstanding courses offer many challenging holes, but also pride themselves in fine dining, providing outstanding restaurants where traditional French cuisine can be savoured at its best.

Fantastic Apartment

My girlfriend and I recently spent 9 days here. Having stayed in Cannes on a number of occassions I can honestly say this apartment is an absolute gem and stands miles above any other apartment I have stayed in while here.

The apartment is incredibly central; it is only a 15 second walk from Rue d'Antibes/minutes from all the good restaurants/a supermarket is less than 2 minutes walk away/the beach is a 5 minute walk max.

The apartment itself is very spacious and well decorated.

Veronique was fantastic to deal with and helped in any way she could.

Little Gem!

I recently stayed here while attending the MIPTV conference and can't wait to stay again! It was a beautiful apartment with all the facilities you need and the position was fantastic! The Palais is at the end of the road but you are far away enough from the Croisette to avoid noise. With a plethora of cafe's, shops and bakeries right on your front doorstep this is a great place to stay in Cannes and be in the thick of the action. The apartment was very clean and tidy and very fresh with lots of light and it was great to be able to open the two windows out on to the street to soak up the french atmosphere. It has a comfortable Queen bed, great bathroom including a bath and a fully functional gourmet kitchen. The owner Veronique was an absolute pleasure to deal with and look forward to using this beautiful apartment again soon!

Home away from home in the heart of Cannes

Clean, comfortable, convenient 1 bedroom apartment in the heart of Cannes, only 3 minutes from the Palais, a few blocks to grocery stores and Croisette restaurants and shops, harbor and beaches. Bright, well lit, with moderately high ceilings and well maintained. Nicely furnished and recently rehabbed, with dishwasher and washer/dryer. 1 bedroom + pullout couch in living room could sleep four, but ideal for two unrelated persons sharing place and each having some private space. Second floor/no lift means you have to be able to handle several flights of steps. Only drawback was it didn't seem to have its own wireless or broadband, but I could often tap into the free wireless from the Hotel Alnea next door. Small building had only three apartments and this was the middle one.

A charming apartment in a small 'bourgeois' building, perfectly located in the 'centre Palais' area and quiet from traffic; close walking distance:

- 1 minute to ' Le Palais des Festivals' on the Croisette (100m) & Casino

- 2 minutes to the nearest public and private beaches of the Croisette

- 2 minutes to the Old Port with boat connections to the Islands of Lérins and to St Tropez

- only 50m to the Rue D'Antibes with its shops, restaurants and cinemas

- 5 minutes to the Marché Forville and the old town « Le Suquet »

- 2 minutes to the train station.

So well located that all facilities are on the doorstep and no car is needed. Croissants (and lots more) just across the street. Rue Meynadier with many prepared-food stores (traiteurs) is just 20m away. A perfect 'pied de terre' in the town of Cannes where business and leisure are the main attractions all year around. A 'coin de paradis' in an attractive part of Cannes for holidays, conferences and cultural events.
