Chez Francois is an old farm which has lovingly been rebuilt (finish 2010) retaining its original character and grandeur. It is set within acres of breathtaking countryside, in the heart of the Dordogne Valley.

Ground floor:

* Spacious kitchen with all modern amenities - electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher. large kitchen table.

* Relaxing lounge - leather sofas plus 3 chairs. Fireplace. Sat TV, DVD player, free broadband connexion.

* 3 double bedrooms: 2 king size bed and 1 queen size bed,

* bathroom with bath, shower, double sink,

* shower room with shower, sink, toilets,

* separate toilets,

Twin bedroom at first floor.

Extra bed to sleep 1 on open mezzanine.

Central heating.

Air conditioned.

Outside:

* acres of land with pastures and breathtaking views over the countryside,

Chez Francois is situated in 4 acres of meadows. This peaceful setting boasts spectacular views over the surrounding countryside and Dordogne valley. Only 1km away is Saint Avit Senieur. A quiet village which springs to life on regular market days selling fresh cheeses, fruit and vegetables and wine from the region's many vineyards. The village itself has a bar, restaurant, and basic grocery shop with fresh bread. The center of the village is at a short 800m walking from the house, through a lovely footpath.

The picturesque Dordogne river, which passes close by St Avit allows for lazy afternoons sunbathing, swimming, fishing and canoing. Other activities within easy reach are horse-riding, tennis, golf and cycle hire. Sightseeing opportunities are endless with many surrounding medieval towns and villages.

Other Activities: Canoing, visiting caves, markets, enjoying good food and good wine... or/and just relaxing!!!

    - 30% deposit with booking
