This apartment is located on Parnell St, which is minutes from O'Connell St. It has been refurbished to a very high standard and because of it's central location is only a few minutes walk to all the major attractions in Dublin city centre. For travellers who want to explore more of Ireland it is close to all the major travel links.
The accommodation comprises a small but fully equipped kitchen with washing dryer, and microwave oven, living room with dining table and seating for 4, L shaped sofa with pull out bed, WIFI, cable TV with integrated DVD player, and iPod dock with FM radio. The bedroom has a double bed, and linen and towels are provided. There is a three piece bathroom with power shower over the bath. Shaver point in Bathroom and hair-dryer also provided.
This is truly a home from home experience and you will be welcomed with a small welcome basket.
On booking you will receive an information pack giving you hints and tips to get the most out of your trip .
This apartment is located on the third floor of a quiet building. Because this building is located on a little used stretch of one way street, there is very little passing traffic so it is even quieter. Although it is a city centre location, there are numerous food shops and supermarkets very close by, as well as the usual raft of entertainment venues, restaurants and bars within only a couple of minutes walk.
The trip from the airport to the apartment is only about 6 miles (10km approx), and the route is well served with buses, specialist airport coaches and taxis.
You are truly in the city centre, and are within walking distance of all the main city cente attractions.

About Carolyn Potter
I was born and grew up in Dublin and left home to get a job in the UK in the early 1980's when I was in my 20's. I now live in the UK but bought this apartment in Dublin many years ago after the death of my Mum, so that I have a place for my family and myself to visit, so that I get to keep my accent and my children get to know a bit about their roots!

Why Carolyn Potter chose Dublin
I bought this property because it is right in the very centre of things in the city centre. It is on the northside (only just north of the river!), and because I am a Northsider I was attracted to it, Everywhere you would want to visit is walkable from the front door. Also this particular apartment, although it was just one bedroom, was significantly more spacious than most that I looked at and it was also in a nice well maintained block.
It fitted the bill for holidays or short break in Ireland.
We refurbished the property a couple of years ago, and completely refurnished it, and it now offers everything you would want in a home from home setting.
We also installed WIFI, and cable TV so there is a full range of entertainment options available. There is a small DVD library there too.
What makes this apartment unique
The main benefit of this property is it's location. Although it is right in the heart of the city it is not on a main traffic route. It is situated on a little used stretch of a one way system, so there is very little street noise. The apartment is on the third floor and in all my visits there I have never heard any noise coming from the neighbouring apartments. It feels a very comfortable place to be .
In this part of the city centre there are several apartment blocks and they have been well catered by foodstores. There are several major supermarkets withing a couple of minutes walk and many other small convenience stores, not to mention the myriad of bars, restaurants and other venues right on your doorstep.

Nous revenons de 4 nuits à Dublin dans l'appartement de Carolyn Potter.
Je suis très contente de mon séjour dans cet appartement.
La propriétaire habite l'Angleterre et je savais que nous ne nous verrions pas.
Elle a été très gentille, très rassurante et très patiente avec toutes mes questions.
Nous sommes arrivés avec le bus sur O'Connel Street et nous avons trouvé notre adresse sans aucune difficulté.
Je voulais que le quartier soit sécuritaire et ne pas avoir peur en rentrant la nuit.
Henry Street et ses magasins sont à 1 minute de l'appartement ce qui a fait le bonheur de ma fille qui a pu partir en expédition shopping toute seule.
Il y a toutes les sortes de fastfood sur le boulevard à quelques minutes de l'immeuble ainsi que plusieurs supérettes.
Donc aucun soucis pour faire les courses.
Nous mettions 9 minutes à pied en passant par Capel Street pour se rendre au premier Pub à Temple bar (the Porterhouse était très animé)
L'appartement était très propre.
L'appartement, l'immeuble et le quartier sont impeccables.
La literie dans la chambre est très moelleuse.
Par contre celle du canapé convertible est plus ferme. C'est un peu difficile pour mettre un drap en dessous mais il est confortable et grand pour 2 personnes adultes.
Les couettes sont agréables.
Nous avions des serviettes de bains à notre disposition. Cela pourrait être pratique d'avoir quelques chose dans la salle de bain pour les mettre à sécher.
Je n'ai pas eu froid du tout dans l'appartement malgré le temps mitigé.
Et il y a des radiateurs si besoin de chauffage supplémentaire.
Je reviendrais sans hésiter dans cette appartement si nous revenons à Dublin."
