Lovely apartment in good situation.

We stayed over Christmas 2010 and found the apartment perfect for our group of 4 (2 couples). The bedrooms are larger than many we've seen before, and having 2 toilets is an advantage. It had just been refurbished, so was clean and well maintained. The sitting area is simply furnished, but comfortable enough. The kitchenette is also simply kitted out, but with all the essentials, and the addition of a washing machine. There is currently no oven (although that may change), but it was sufficiently well-equipped for us to cater every day, and having the DVD and i-pod docking station were an added bonus for those of us too exhausted to party in the evenings!
It is well situated for easy access to the slopes and, with careful observation of the other residents, we managed to ski directly back to the locker room from the first day (the way onto the slopes is slightly uphill, so requires a very short walk in the mornings). Uncovered Parking was free at the other end of the village and there is easy access to the back of the block to drop off luggage beforehand - although this had to be walked up the stairs from that end of the building. The lift down to the boot locker is at the other end of the block.
There is a nearby supermarket and ski hire (we used Skimium with online advanced booking that gave a good deal). For more specialist shops the free bus down to the main Meribel centre was quick and easy (stop is right outside the apartment block).
Emails to the owner were quickly answered and helped us plan our stay. Keys and other documents were sent promptly. Having a Thursday changeover is unusual, but we found it advantageous to not be travelling on the roads at the weekend.
This is a lovely area and a well-situated apartment. We'd definitely consider using this one again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
