In the best location on sought-after development, an attractive villa with excellent views available for short-term rentals. It has a spacious, well-furnished lounge with small library, safe, top quality television with UK satellite and a large selection of DVD films for cosy nights in. An archway leads through to the dining area with doors to a shady lani, a secluded, sunny patio and small private garden with sun loungers, table and chairs. Ceiling fans keep the house cool in summer whilst there is a big log fire and panel radiators for winter evenings. Separate, well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge and pantry; utility room with dishwasher and washing machine. Three double bedrooms, two with balcony and all with panoramic views, served by three bathrooms, one en-suite to the master bedroom. Activities: In the favoured south-west of the island, the main beach offers all kinds of water sports, whilst there is an excellent scuba diving school based in the marina. Mallorca's coastline is full of contrasts with many pretty bays, coves and clear turquoise seas. The house is ideally placed to discover the picturesque hilly pine clad south-west of the island, the rocky north coast, Deya, Valdemossa, historic Palma and many beautiful beaches. There is excellent hiking and cycling; one of our favourite days out is to walk or horse-ride in the hills above nearby Calvia. Santa Ponsa has 3 local golf courses which have hosted the Mallorcan Classic European Tour Event, whilst tennis is available at several local clubs. Children will enjoy the nearby attractions of Jungle Park, Marineland, Aquapark and go-carting. In summer the entertainment quarter offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars & clubs together with a very professional open-air stage show in the main square: it's a much quieter resort in winter.

Indoor swimming pool and 'Jungle Park': Whilst there are two swimming pools, more serious swimmers and winter guests will enjoy the brand new indoor public pool within five minutes walk. This state-of-the art installation holds a 25m pool with aerobics / gym section, and costs about €5 for a day pass. Very popular with children is 'Jungle Park', an adventure playground with tree-walks and exciting activities; this is near the marina, about a fifteen-minute walk.
We're always here to help you...: Santa Ponsa is a 20-minute drive from the airport and is very easy to find, with good, fast roads all the way. There are always plenty of taxis and the airport fare is about 40 euros. However, hiring a car undoubtedly adds to your enjoyment as there is so much to see around this lovely island. Car hire at the airport is inexpensive with new cars which can be booked ahead. I am happy to recommend excellent car-hire companies and will provide simple directions for driving from the airport. NB Keys are available whatever time you arrive.
Near to the house is an excellent and free drop-in health centre staffed by English, German and Spanish-speaking doctors. Although based in the UK we speak Spanish and English and my local english manager is only a phone call away should you experience any problems, need assistance or simply want advice to ensure you enjoy a great holiday on this magical island.
