About Mike Holtgrefe
My wife and I are natives of the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Our three daughters are grown and we are avid boaters. The closest 'really good water' to us is Lake Cumberland and we visit regularly.
Mike Holtgrefe purchased this house in 2009
Why Mike Holtgrefe chose Kentucky
We have been coming to Lake Cumberland for over 35 years and fell in love with the Beaver Creek area. We have been visiting Dockview Road (Sunset Pointe) since it was built and dreamed of owning a house here someday, given its close proximity to the marina.
What makes this house unique
We had a cabin cruiser docked at Beaver Creek, and when we downsized to a day boat we started looking for a lake house and this house was perfect - we could see the marina and our slip from the front porch! The size of the bedrooms, the open feeling of the first floor and hand-crafted cabinets and ceramic floors make this place a really comfortable getaway and a welcome break after a great day on the water.
