    - Non-refundable deposit of 25% required to secure a booking.
    - Bookings are not guaranteed until the client receives a written confirmation from the owner following receipt of the deposit.
    - BALANCE of total payment is due 6 weeks prior to arrival,
    -SECURITY DEPOSIT of €500 against damages etc is payable with the final balance before arrival and refunded no later than one month following checkout (provided property is left in satisfactory condition)
    - ADDITIONAL €150 for final end of stay cleaning payable with final balance
    - PAYMENTS are made in quoted currency Euros unless otherwise agreed with the owners.
    - RATES are subject to change without notice until confirmation received
  • - CANCELLATION POLICY: Should you have to cancel your trip for whatever reason after the final payment has been made, please notify us as soon as possible so we can try our best to find replacement tenants. If this is possible then we would refund you the amount we receive from a replacement tenant. If no replacement can be found then we would not be able to make a refund and you would need to make a claim on your appropriate travel insurance.
    - EXTRA CLEANING during stay can be arranged at an additional charge, payable on site.
    - CHANGE-OVER day is usually Saturday: Arrivals after 16:00 p.m. / Departures before 10:00 a.m.

Our stay at Théodorit was more than outstanding. The house is as beautiful if not more beautiful than the pictures. The terrace is a paradise, the furnishings exceptional, the location as good as it gets with a view to the valley and a charming medieval home across the street. You walk a few minutes along cobble stone streets between 16th or 17th century town homes to Place-Aux-Herbes where in the centre you are in the real France with children and dogs playing arround a fountain and with cafés and restaurants of quality in a most 'agréable' surrounding. The people are such that any remaining thoughts of the old myth that the French are snooty will vanish immediately
The home and the town are beyond charming and comfortable. We recommend it without question.

French Provencal Bliss!

We stayed in this beautiful apartment in Uzes for one week in April 2013 with friends. It far exceeded our expectations, what an amazing place! The street it was in was absolutely charming, close to town centre but very quiet. The house was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed and more. We utilised the courtyard BBQ a number of times buying fresh produce from the markets and shops, chatted around the breakfast table in the Provencal kitchen, lounged on the comfy sofas with wine at the end of the day and slept peacefully in the comfortable beds. The owners, Andrea and Charles were friendly and always easy to contact. The local contact person was also friendly and met us at the time we had planned.
We wanted an authentic French town without it being too touristy and Uzes certainly was this. It was a beautiful town with friendly people, great markets, wonderful restaurants, beautiful walks and quaint shops. We had spent a week in Paris before this and had caught the fast train to Nimes then hired a car for the week. The drive from Nimes to Uzes is only half an hour. We took a number of drives in the area as it was close to Avignon, Arles, Nimes and less than an hour to Mediterranean. We also had a wonderful day kayaking under the Pont du Gard which was very nearby. We recommend this town and this accommodation very highly and hope others will get to enjoy it as much as we did.

A magnificent accommodation and great location!

This is a lovely home in an excellent location, convenient to shops in the village, and everything around Provence. Tastefully decorated and fully fitted out for relaxation and cooking with local ingredients and specialties. You could easily stay here for 2 weeks (wish we had been smart enough to do that ourselves!) enjoying all the sights from this wonderful accommodation. We would recommend it unreservedly and our friends back home will be hearing about it so that they can come and stay at this jewel too. A French couple from Lyon stopped us as we were unlocking the front door with our groceries from the local shops to say how lucky we were to live in such a lovely place. We told them they could be lucky too, and gave them the website address. Something this wonderful deserves to be shared!

Lovely accommodation in Uzes

It is very difficult to find anything negative to say about this house! I agree with previous reviewers that it is beautifully appointed and in an ideal situation: quiet, easily accessible and yet within walking distance of everywhere in the central old city. After finding the underground car park rather awkward for a large car we parked in a huge free car park off the Nimes road, which was less than 10 mins on foot from the house. Suzy met us and was extremely helpful. It was very hot during our stay, but the house is cool with its old stone walls, and we hardly needed to use the air conditioning. The terrace is lovely - sun and shade when you want it and great for eating outside. The accommodation is ideal - lots of space for persons and their belongings and clothes. Our party consisted of grandparents, son and grandsons in early 20s, and all generations thoroughly enjoyed their stay! Uzes is lovely, and so is the surrounding countryside. We had some great walks - particularly along the Gardon and north of Uzes at Les Concluses. But if you don't feel energetic, this house is ideal for a lazy holiday!

Jewel in the Heart of Uzes

In multiple rentals in France over 10 years, this is by far our favorite house. BIG COMFORTABLE beds -- no old lumpy mattresses. Fabulous terrace perfect for long meals and great conversation over a bottle (or 2) of wine brought back from a vineyard visit. Well fitted kitchen permits preparing fabulous meals at home or just sitting around enjoying a pizza (they are wonderful at the Pizza du Duchy). The windows open onto the street and the terrace and create great cross breeze and the nearby churches chime the hour -- one minute apart. Easy walk to Place Aux Herbes and local restaurants and shopping. The neighborhood is quiet except for the occasional tour to the fountain outside the kitchen window. Perfect for 2 couples -- just enough space to spread out and give everyone some private space. If you want a living in a lively French village experience, you can't do better than this.
