The villa is situated on a quiet hillside estate above the small Costa Brava town of Santa Cristina d'Aro. It enjoys an uninterrupted southerly view across the valley to the Mediterranean Sea. It is 30 minutes from Girona airport and 1 hour from Barcelona airport. Ideally located for exploring the Costa Brava. A short drive will take you to many of the best beaches on the Costa Brava such as S'agaro and La Fosca. Nearby towns include traditional Sant Feliu de Guixols, lively Platja d'Aro and the fishing town of Palamos. A short distance down the coast is the picturesque town of Tossa de Mar with its historic walled centre. An hours drive inland takes you to the lakeside town of Banyoles, medieval Besalu with its ancient Roman bridge and Castellfollit de la Roca with its houses perched on breathtaking river cliffs. Further afield is the Dali museum in Figueres, and Barcelona with its beautiful collection of Gaudi architecture, including the world famous Sagrada Familia.
The local area is well served by shops and restaurants. All within a short drive, making a car essential.
