Our family spent two weeks in this home in June 2014 and had an incredible stay. The home was gorgeous, beautifully situated on the waterfront and had ample room for all seven members of our group. Our three sons loved the separate theater room with the large screen tv as well as the pool and adjoining hot tub. The yard behind the home provided ample room to swing in the hammock, grill out, observe the countless turtles in the surf or play boche ball each day while enjoying the afternoon trade winds. Our family has traveled extensively over the years and have not found a home as beautiful or as welcoming as this property which proved to be perfectly situated for our Hawaiian vacation.

The property owners proved to be very responsive regarding any minor issues which may have arisen during our visit and eager to assist our group in having a wonderful stay, including but not limited to recommending dive sites, Road to Hana tips and listing other sites for us to visit. If we return to Maui, we would stay nowhere else other than this beautiful home and cannot recommend it highly enough for others looking for a home away from home in Maui.

Since your stay we have re-plastered our pool and installed irridized glass water-line and entry stairs tile and all irridized glass tile in the spa. It is gorgeous! We also installed a Twin Eagles BBQ, Best on the Planet! and it is on the lanai facing the ocean so come grille over sunset! We are striving to make everything 'Sing' as we truly enjoy pleasing our clients to the N'th degree! Hope to have you all here again sometime soon.

Great Place

Our group of eight spent a week at this property to celebrate a milestone birthday. We were not disappointed.
Each morning we gathered on the ocean side patio to enjoy our coffee and breakfast while sea turtles popped up in the water to say hello. This was usually followed by a walk on the beach, a swim in the ocean or a paddle on the two person kayak that is provided for use.
We spent many afternoons in and around the pool and hot tub. We all enjoyed the outdoor shower as well.
The large gourmet kitchen is well stocked and we made full use of it, making most of our own meals.
All the beds were extremely comfortable - including the Murphy bed in the media room.
The media room is located next to the pool and has a huge flat screen tv. This allowed us an unexpected perk as we were able to watch the Stanley Cup finals while in the pool.
The house really has everything you need so it was hard to leave but we did manage a few outings.
Lahaina, although quite touristy, is worth a visit. Upcountry to Makawao is much less touristy and offers unique stores to browse. Paia is a must visit, if only for lunch at the Fish Market. The Ocean Centre at Maalaea provides great insight to everything in and around the islands.
We also walked from the house to several small markets and to Three Restaurant for happy hour.
Our hosts, Nick and Kate allowed us our privacy but they were there whenever we needed assistance.
From a 'do better' perspective, a larger BBQ would be great. The hammock is in a great location, however, it is very warn and should be replaced. We weren't able to find a knife sharpener in the kitchen. The middle bedroom was very warm at night and the air conditioner was too noisy for sleeping. Although the house is wonderfully breezy during the day, it was very warm when we closed up for the night. We never did find the control for the central air conditioning and we could have used it during the night. There were no life jackets readily available for the kayak, however, Nick managed to find some for us when we asked. The majority of these issues are minor and easily addressed.
Overall, the house is well maintained and in a great central location. We very much enjoyed our vacation at this property and we would highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay here.

We take to heart the feedback we get as that is what guides us to constantly improve our property and our guests experience! A new 36 " Twin Eagles BBQ with a granite counter top and under counter refrigerator and storage is being built at the end of this month! Thanks for that input! We have heard that before and we just needed a vacant period of time to execute our plan! We will investigate a new A C unit for the bedroom you mentioned.
Additional plans in the works are to do a fabulous glass-tiling of the jacuzzi surface which will be complete for our next guests coming in August 1. The glass tile color will make the jucuzzi look like a natural pond: very elegant! We look forward to your next visit and we sincerely appreciate all your acknowledgement and suggestions.

Paradise in Kihei!

We stayed for 10 days - 6 of us were extremely comfortable and had a relaxing holiday. The owner is super accommodating and very helpful. The house is beautifully set-up and the combo of a pool and private access to the beach meant we always had something to do irrespective of the weather. Very private and very quiet. Would return without question.

My family (3 daughters with husbands and two wee grandchildren) had such a relaxing and enjoyable time at your beach (paddle surfing and kayaking), your pool and your lanai (whale, turtle and sunset watching). Your home is everything you advertise and the indoor/outdoor living experience is true Maui. We appreciated all your good advice on neighbourhood amenities and for making us feel so welcome.
I cannot imagine a more special spot for a family gathering and you can be sure I will be calling you if I can manage to round up the troops for another visit. Aloha!

Overall good

Right from the start it was a challenge to find a house for 3 couples to stay comfortably in for a week so we were very excited to find this house. From first contact Robbie and his wife were very helpful from answering all our questions to helping us unload groceries upon arrival ! The location of the house is very central and easy to walk to shopping ,restaurants ,scooter rental and more. Overall the house was good however there were a few area's that could be improved on .Beds are advertised as queen beds however we found them to be closer to a double in size as well as bedding such as pillows need to updated. The out door grill is not a suitable size for the size in which the house will accommodate, We found it difficult to grill for 6 people ... Upon arrival although the house was neat and tidy it was not overly clean! For the money we payed we expected a little more in these area's! Our group enjoyed the ocean access, whale and turtle watching right from the comfort of our lounge chair!!! This was great!!

Owner's Response: We have our home prepped prior to every arrival by two very attentive cleaners, who spend at least 6 hours each carefully cleaning, and then we personally review and fine tune it. No one previously had identified any areas that were less than Acceptable. We live here and are very careful to keep everything in excellent working order. We understand your concern about the size of the grille and take that constructively. We will find a grille that can accommodate grilling for 6 to 8 persons. We are glad that you enjoyed our Oceanfront Home and take to heart your constructive insights. Perhaps coming to a private home after staying in a Resort Hotel can be a bit of an adjustment. fabulous accommodation

This was the perfect place to stay while we were here for my son's wedding. Robbie was a great host...showed us everything when we checked in and was quick to answer any questions that came up.
We particularly enjoyed being able to go from the ocean to the pool and hot tub without leaving the property. The house has everything we needed and more! We enjoyed sunsets in the evening and turtles every morning. Just a great place to stay. Hope we can come back sometime.
