2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment, with secure ground level parking -lift access

Flat 21 is a large modern secure flat on the fifth floor (lift access) with expansive views over the beautiful city of Edinburgh.

It has a fully equipped modern kitchen,utility room with washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. The large master bedroom has an en suite with bath and shower. The second bedroom can be set up as a double or twin bedded room. The second bathroom has a walk in shower. The living room has seating for 8 and a sofa which converts to a double bed if needed.

The apartment is family friendly and baby equipment is available as standard. There is a softplay and ceramic centre toddling distance away and many great places to drive to- the Zoo, Butterfly World, Craigies Farm, to name but a few. Babysitting by a registered nanny is a possibility.

The flat is the perfect place to chill before walking to the vibrant Leith waterfront or heading to the city centre. Public transport links to the city are excellent and available 24-7. A short inexpensive cab ride to city is a great option. City centre parking best avoided.

Suitable for all ages this spacious modern flat is part the largest waterfront development in Europe. Leith is now host to many of Edinburgh's top bars, restaurants.There are three Michelin star restaurants in Leith and attractions such as the Ocean Terminal -Edinburgh's most innovative new retail and leisure complex.

About Val Leek

I have shared my gorgeous apartment in Leith with guests family and friends for the last 10 years. I currently live in North East England happily a very short train ride and slightly longer car journey to visit my favourite city. It's main attraction now are my two lovely grandsons. There's lots of fun to be had with or without the little boys.

Why Val Leek chose Leith

When my husband and I walked into this brand new half finished sunny apartment we were sold immediately. It's spaciousness, warmth- despite being unheated- views, and practical things like the designated parking place were and still are a great bonus.

What makes this apartment unique

We love parking up after a busy week at work then setting off on foot for an amazing choice of food and drink on the Leith shore. It is a short hop up to the city with even more choice. We have seen great shows at the theatre, enjoyed mindboggling choice at the festival and caroused with throng at New Year. It's a year round destination with countless things to do.

Amazing Apartment in a Fabulous Location!!

The apartment itself was absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean. It was a real home away from home with absolutely everything we needed - fluffy towels / kitchenware / tableware / wifi / iron&board etc. The place is very modern and really well maintained, the bathrooms and kitchen are all top quality. I have never seen a bed as big as the one in the master bedroom! The flat is very close to all of the amenities of Leith and Ocean Terminal, and it is also very quick and easy to get to the Centre of Edinburgh from there. Val the owner was so friendly and helpful in the run up to our visit, and answered all my queries promptly. I would 100% recommend this property to a friend and I will most definitely be back! Thanks so much Val!

Overall pleased

We spent four days at this apartment with another couple. Each of us had an infant in tow. The location was great - very near Ocean Terminal and within a block to the bus station for a quick 10-15 min bus ride to the city center. The apartment was clean, set up for young children (two cribs available, high chair, baby toys), the owner and property manager with quick with responses. Our only complaint was the towels smelled like cigarette smoke. None of us are smokers and despise the smell, so it was a bit challenging to deal with the smell as it lingered on us after using the towels (we had no other options). The owner was notified and sincerely apologized. Would recommend, especially if traveling with young children.

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

We stayed here en route to dropping my son off to university. The flat is well positioned, close to bus routes into the main tourist attractions in Edinburgh and within easy walking to the Royal Yacht Britannia. We thought we would end up eating in Edinburgh but actually found some fantastic restaurants' really close to the flat. Would definitely stay here again.

This flat was in a perfect location!

We stayed in this flat for 4 days in June 2014. We were a family of 6. The space had everything we needed. We bought the daily bus passes to get to all the attractions. The Ocean terminal mall was directly behind the complex so we could go shopping, eat at restaurants and go to the movies. I would definitely stay here again.

Home From Home

My wife and I stayed here for 2 months-our daughter who lives nearby was having her second baby and we were there in a supportive role.

The apartment is spacious and clean,and the meet and greet worked really well.We particularly appreciated the garage car space,with direct lift access from the garage to the 5th floor being very convenient.

The apartment has an excellent kitchen with a sizeable dining table-we made good use of it,although there is a wide range of restaurants nearby if you prefer to dine out.

The bedrooms are also a good size,we used the master bedroom and found the king size bed very comfortable.

The apartment also has wifi which is easy to connect -a valuable feature.

This is a very comfortable apartment and for us it became a home from home for the duration of our stay.We will be using it again,and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
