Cottage in the beautiful panoramic area of Manarola with a big terrace!sea view! Free internet wifi
This was our fourth stay in the Cinque Terre, our 3rd in Manarola. I wish we had found this apartment sooner. Well located, not nearly so many steps/stairs as other places we have stayed (less than 50), comfortable and spacious. Quirky bathroom but great hot water and shower! We appreciated the washing machine and Andrea's responsiveness. There is the possibility of adding on two more bedrooms for a total of 4 queen-sized beds and sleeping 8 with the two rooms and additional bath downstairs. Would be great for a family. Less than 10 minutes to the train station.
My husband and I were meeting my sister and niece in Cinque Terre for four days. We loved the area, even though many of the hiking trails were closed. This apartment was clean and well maintained. When the air conditioner started leaking, they came to repair it right away. What surprised us was the lack of privacy. The earlier reviewer and had commented that two couples had traveled there together and "enjoyed their separate quarters." We had truly believed that there were 2 separate bedrooms and there were NOT. The two beds are simply divided by armoires that don't reach the ceiling, so there is NO privacy. The apartment has no true doors or dividers that block sound or conversation. There is only a curtain divider between the sleeping area and the kitchen. Having said that, the terrace was wonderful and we spent happy times enjoying the view over breakfast or wine in the evenings. I doubt that anyone would really cook while staying in the apartment, as the kitchen is not really equipped to prepare a full meal, but there are fun and delicious restaurants nearby. I believe this apartment is well suited to parents traveling with kids, who don't mind the lack of privacy.
The apartment is a hidden gem that offers a convenient location with spectacular views of the water and main boulevard. The place is located along the main street a few stories up. The balconies allow you to people watch during the day and enjoy the sunset at night. My wife and I shared the apartment with another couple and we all enjoyed our separate quarters at night. The place had everything you needed to cook and rest at night. We highly recommend this place to anyone!
Our property is located in Manarola, in the heart of the National Park of Cinque Terre.
