3 bedroom apartment to sleep 6 in Central Edinburgh, opposite the University

This second floor apartment is situated within the desirable Old Town area of Edinburgh, across the road from Edinburgh University. There is an excellent range of local amenities including restaurants, bars, theatres and speciality shops within close proximity. The Common Wealth swimming pool is within walking distance as is the Royal Museum of Scotland, Kings Theatre, Usher Hall, Festival Theatre and the Meadows and the Queens Park where beautiful walks are available. There is a regular bus service to surrounding areas and the nearest train station is a 5 minute taxi ride away. This is a fantastic base to enjoy Edinburgh Festival and the excitement of Edinburgh City.

The apartment is on the second floor of a traditional, impressive sandstone block and finished to a high standard. There are 3 double bedrooms all with king size beds, a fully fitted kitchen with integrated appliances, a bathroom with a double ended bath and shower over and a separate WC. Sorry no smoking.

WONDERFUL LOCATION

We had a wonderful apartment found. The rooms were functional, attractive and friendly. The sanitary facilities were good. The kitchen was fully equipped and even provided with a small supply. We were greeted by the friendly Kate even with a bottle of wine. That was an additional pleasant surprise. Kate was in all very reliable. Also the security deposit was refunded immediately.
We had a wonderful time and would come back any time.

very happy with this rental

All of the people in our group were extremely pleased with this flat. Great location, plenty of room for 5 or 6 people and well kept. Being from the country we weren't used to the noise at night, but it was festival time. Good service from the owners and proximity to everything was a bonus. Would definitely recommend this unit.

Wonderful!!

We loved this flat! Not only was it in the perfect location as we were able to walk all over the city, it was basically next to the Edinburgh Castle, where we were attending a wedding. There is no end to the shops, restaurants, and pubs. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. Kate was also incredibly accommodating. We had a few last minute adjustments that she handled seamlessly. So a big thank you to her and her family. We hope to be back in Edinburgh again and would certainly look to see if this flat was booked first! Thanks again!

We just loved this flat! It's in a perfect spot to enjoy all the best that the Fringe has to offer. Also 'Mum's' - the best sausage & mash shop, is on the doorstep! Everything you could wish for including very helpful, friendly & flexible owners. After 12 years of the Fringe and the experience of many types of accomodation we have found our Edinburgh home!

This apartment surpassed our expectations!

Excellent facilities and excellent location. The best apartment we've stayed in in many years of visiting Edinburgh. Be aware of 2 flights of stairs and considerable traffic and street noise and if these don't concern you then it is without fault. All perfectly clean and nicely appointed. Blackfriars Bobby is just below and a well known folk cafe is opposite. Kate the owner is extremely helpful and friendly.

Beautiful apartment, wonderful location.

You really couldn't wish for more than this apartment. It is situated right in the centre of Fringe activity and is only a 15min walk from the New town. The accommodation is lovely and has everything you need. The Doctor's bar on the corner serves the most wonderful cider and there is a wide choice of places to eat or shop within a few minutes' walk. The owners met us to hand over the keys and left a very nice bottle of wine as a welcome gift.
