What an incredible property with a view to die for!
It was immaculate and exactly as advertised with everything you could need for a great stay. A group of 9 of us stayed for 3 days and we felt so comfortable. The house is plenty big enough to accommodate all those people and you don't feel like you're tripping over each other at all. The weather was perfect and we made great use of the balcony to soak up some sun and do some much needed relaxing.
The proximity to the beach was really nice and it was good to be within easy reach of a few pubs and amenities.
We would happily have stayed for much longer and would thoroughly recommend this house and location for anyone looking for a relaxing break.
Also, the hidden bath is incredible...!
The property is absolutely beautiful, right on the beach and has the most stunning views imaginable out of the first floor living area. We were 9 friends staying only for a couple of days and i wish we could have stayed a few days more. The house accomodated all of is very comfortably and there was plenty of space. The bbq on the back balcony and a firepit outside with benches around it were very well used and much appreciated. We went to play mini golf at a nearby golf course one day which whas great fun. Communication with the owner was easy, directions clear and ultimately I would definitely recommend staying in the property and would go back in a flash.
This is a stunning place to stay. The open living space is just as it looks in the photos- we were lucky with the weather and had the added bonus of seeing beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It was warm and cosy particuarly with the wood burning stove. We had a girls weekend away for my birthday and the open plan layout meant you could all be involved in the chatting at all times! We enjoyed an evening meal at the Seal. We loved being able to step out through the back gate and stroll along the sea front. We only had a week end and none of us wanted to leave.
This was a lovely house in a fantastic situation. Very spacious and clean with stunning views out to sea. Had the most fab time and would definitely try and book again.
Stayed at the house to celebrate a birthday weekend. Wonderful service from the outset, beautiful property with stunning views over the sea. The open plan kitchen and living area is a winner for any social group!
The hidden bathroom is a gem, the fire pit at dusk is a must do and a walk along the waterfront and visit to the Crab and Lobster are also must!
Will certainly be visiting again! Thank you for making it such a welcoming California style beach house on the English Coast!
Had a terrific birthday weekend at this wonderful beach house. The view is amazing, the property is delightful and if you get a chance to use the fire pit, that is a winner too at dusk!
Another plus point when staying with a group at the house was that the open plan kitchen and loving area make the whole place feel social.
The house is warm and welcoming, with lots of space, a great hidden bathroom and super user-friendly with the feeling of a California beach house on the English South Coast!
Lots of great walks along the beach front and a visit to the Crab and Lobster in is also a must!
Will certainly be returning again.
As a seaside town, Selsey offers everyone good beaches, clean water, wonderful seafood, excellent sea fishing opportunities and some of the best sunshine in the UK. You will notice that Selsey is a quiet place, not least because there isn't any through traffic, everyone who is here is here because they want to be. Visit the most southerly point in West Sussex. Selsey's history includes a vital link with the D Day landings. Some of the Mulberry Harbours were hidden off Selsey during the build up to the landings.
Selsey also proud itself of its link with the RNLI and visitors can visit the boathouse and see, close up, the amazing equipment that modern sea rescue demands.
One of the main local attractions is Chichester Harbour. Bright wide expanses and intricate creeks are at the same time a major wildlife haven and among some of Britain’s most popular boating waters. This unique area has quite rightly been designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
