Downstairs master suite plus 1/2 bath with full laundry facilities. Fully stocked kitchen and cozy living room with wood burning fire and lots of games and books for the younger children. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with bunk beds and a single in one room and a queen and double in the other room. A bathroom with a shower and a loft area with plenty of old school movies. The back deck is a great place to relax, watch the sunset and stars in the evening.
We bought this land and built the cabin ourselves, with lots of help from family and friends, as a getaway from Las Vegas summers. We love to get away to the small town feel of Williams and are so excited to share it with others. Roger and I bring our family up to this cabin whenever we can.
Roger Fernane purchased this cabin in 2008
With downtown Williams within walking distance, it is a great place to unplug and unwind in the mountains but within walking distance of anything you need. The Grand Canyon Railway, Route 66 and even a short drive to the Grand Canyon itself makes this place a great getaway.
All wood decor gives it a woodsy cabin feel and the wood burning stove makes it feel cozy. With room to sleep up to 8 in beds, it is a great family rental. The back porch is a great place to watch the sunset and the stargazing deck allows an amazing view
Its such a beautiful cabin. I have no regrets or complaints. Everything was perfect. i loved loved sitting in the back porch and just enjoying the fresh air!!! I think one of the best things of our trip was sitting on the back porch with our little kids while they enjoyed the falling snow. Its so close to town and to the Polar Express too. We look forward to going back next year for another family gathering. I recommend this cabin 100%!!!!
Since we had our extended family with 2 grand girls 6 and 7...the Cozy Cabin was letter perfect. Although rustic, it offered every amenity for our convenience and pleasure. The only negatives were a unconnected valve on the propane grill (we lit it manually after much fiddling) and a wifi hookup that took us right to the last step and then failed to connect (we called the property manager and his only advice was to follow the directions included, which we had done without success, repeatedly). Nonethe less we had a wonderful time and found this rental to be ever so relaxing and close to town and the railway to the Grand Canyon.
This is a beautiful cabin in Williams which is located between Grand Canyon and Sedona both places that we wanted to go. It has everything you need to make food at home. It has all kinds of games and movies in it. The owner and the manager are very nice and accommodating. We had no problem what so ever! We loved the decoration inside the cabin. The cabin is super close to the historic Route 66 and downtown Williams with a lot of restaurants, shops, and groceries stores.
My wife, 2 kids and our friends and their 2 kids stayed here for 3 nights. The cabin was cozy and clean. The kids aged 4-7 were able to play along the side and back yards in the snow. The house is located a short walk into town and there was a great hike close to the property by walking to the top of the hill and walking the fire road into the forest. This was a great place to stay and would do it again. The owner and property manger were responsive to any requests. One recommendation to the owner would be to add a little more lighting in the kitchen area. Other than that it was great!! Thanks Roger!
I Would like to recommend this cozy Cabin to anybody is so beautiful inside with wonderful views outside, so close to the polar Express and restaurants walking distance. The cabin was so clean and well maintained and the owner was so helpful when we need to know for directions or related to the cabin.
Great Place! Cabin is really good for 6-8 people. Clean, nice kitchen, great deck, fun loft/tv room, nice bathrooms. Owner has a local property manager who can be contacted immediately if any issues arise. great location....just a few blocks from downtown Williams.
I would recommend it to anyone!
During the winter season, it can become icy on the hill up to the house, we recommend chains or 4 wheel drive. The Polar Express train is just at the bottom of the hill. Elkridge Ski Resort is nearby as well. Plenty of yard area for winter snow activities.
