This luxury villa is located on & overlooking the beach of Porto de Mós and within a short distance of Lagos town centre, there are 2 restaurants on Porto de Mós beach and a further 2 within easy walking distance plus numerous cafés & restaurants around Lagos. International supermarkets are within a 5 minute drive as is Boa Vista golf course. Porto de Mós caters for scenic walks along the cliff tops to the nearby village of Luz. The beach is wind protected and at low tide there are many small rock pools ideal for children. Kayaking, boating & surfing is available on the beach & trips are all day from Lagos Marina & boulevard.

Kayaking is a must as there are many caves & smaller beaches within a short distance of Porto de Mós beach, great for snorkeling in inaccessible areas

Photos do not do this villa justice, the place is huge! Furnished to the highest standards, immaculately clean, and with an outdoor terrace looking over the pool and out to the sea. It's a short stroll down to the beach where there are 2 decent restaurants, and even better ones a little further afield in Lagos.

Perfect for families or for groups, as the villa is spacious enough to allow privacy as well as provide the perfect spaces for dinners or relaxing by the pool.

Really don't have a bad word to say about our experience. Highly recommended.

We were 4 girls renting the Casa Praia villa for one week. Four large bedrooms, each with its own high-quality bathroom, suited us perfectly! The 5th double bedroom suite is located in the annex with separate entrance which we did not use and was not used by anyone else while we were there. We would relax by the pool in comfortable lounge chairs or have breakfast on the balcony, enjoying the magnificent blue ocean view. The description was 100% accurate. We always walked to the grocery store, a 35 minute walk, and downtown Lagos, a 45 minute walk, allowing us to incorporate great daily exercise while on vacation. We arrived and departed by train, did not take local buses, and only used taxis for arrival and departure. We very much enjoyed the food and our daily cocktails at the beach restaurant - meticulously concocted by the charming, sweetest bartender.

The owner of the villa, John, was always quick to respond to any questions we had via email before our arrival and while there, was available by telephone whenever we needed him. Would definitely recommend this property. We had a week in luxury! Thank you!

Casa Praia is exactly the advert, its a very modern villa with four large bedrooms, and spacious living and dining areas. The pool is idea for all , being 0.8m deep at the shallow end 1.8m at the deep end, and has corner steps into the shallow end.note the pool area surround is all tiled and can be slippery (take care). Located in a quiet but developing area of Porto de Mos, Casa Praia has views of the sea and the Lagos suburb. Food shopping at Intermarche is a thirty minute walk away, or 7euro each way. Lagos is walkable (just), local buses out of season are intemittent, but taxi's are readily available. Booking the villa is easy via Email contact with the owner John and all rental transactions completed via English banking system. We had breakfast and evening meal on the balcony every day, a definite plus...
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers

Thanks to John for this unbeliveable Holiday. The house is gorgeous, if you enter first time you feel like a king. All rooms are big and luxury, the view is great and the pool is perfekt.
