Rousdon can be found sitting on the borders of Devon and Dorset and although quiet and private is close to many popular attractions and quaint villages and towns. Being part of the Jurassic Coast (and a World Heritage Site) there are many opportunities to go fossil-hunting at Lyme Regis (which is also home to Dinosaur-land) and Charmouth.

Axminster is about a 15 minute drive away, home to TVs River Cottage, and also offers a sports complex with a swimming pool and other facilities. It is a wonderful area to explore on foot along the West Coast pathway

Go fishing and see the quarry caves in Beer; see the forge in Branscombe; travel the tram at Seaton; visit Jacob's Ladder beach at Sidmouth; grab a cream tea or pub lunch almost anywhere!
