Luxury beach front apartment with pools and gym, direct ocean view from balcony

The condo was Beautiful. It was exactly like the photos showed. I loved the view and the easy access to the appt either using the stairs or elevator. I was traveling with my partial handicapped mother and she had no problem accessing the appt or bathroom in her room. I liked the fact the the maid only came twice while we were there for the 10 days. It was close to entertainment and grocery shopping. It was a convenient place to be since I have family in Barbados and they were able to come and visit. I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Barbados. When we arrived there was a small care package which was great until we were able to make it to the grocery store.

Everything was extremely easy to organise, with airport collection and car hire all done through Albert and his colleagues.

The apartment was lovely, spacious, clean and well looked after. There was ample space for our two children to run and crawl around in. Arriving late in the evening proved to be no problem and the fact that some basic provisions were provided (milk, biscuits, fruit and cake) was a huge bonus.

The complex is right on the beach but also has two pools, which were generally very quiet and with steps at each end were perfect for our 2 year old to enjoy.

The beach is also excellent, quite wide with palm trees at the back providing shade when needed, certainly the best beach we saw on the island, although the waves were bigger than elsewhere. In the apartment were beach towels, buckets, spades and various beach toys, a really helpful touch.

Overall Barbados is a lovely place for a holiday and we would love to go back, and if we do it will certainly be to this apartment, it was perfect.

I just returned from a all Queens vacation on the beautiful island of Barbados and stayed at the Sapphire Beach Condos on Dover Beach. Upon arrival my group was escorted to our two seperate condos. The first condo 305 was beautiful with awesome views of turquoise waters and the sound of the ocean inviting us to stay a while. After a long flight we were greeted with fresh fruit and snacks. The condo was cozy and well maintained. The ladies that stayed in condo 108 loved there accomadations as well. This was a bi-level unit I really like the privacy of the bedroom located on the first floor of the unit which also had a door that lead out to one of the two swimming pools on the property. Overall Sapphire Beach Condos is a fabulous location the beach is your backyard for a relaxing day in the sun or filled with excitement and adventure with the numerous water sports available yards away. It is a five minute walk to the Gap, easy access to banks, restaurants, bars, chattel houses and grocery stores. As ladies traveling we felt very safe and the security personel were great. Cant wait to return next year.
