Villa Jolyn is a detached villa, situated in it's own grounds of half an acre with spectacular views of Elounda, Mirabello Bay and the Sitian Mountains. Villa Jolyn is only a few minutes walk from the traditional Cretan village of Pines, one of the oldest on the island.
The accommodation in the villa is all on one level - The main accommodation comprising, the kitchen, living / dining room and master bedroom with en-suite shower room. The second bedroom with en-suite shower room is also on the same level. All rooms have wonderful sea and mountain views and have outside areas where you can relax and soak up the sun during the day, and enjoy a relaxing evening meal and a drink, while watching the spectacular sunsets. The villa is maintained to a high standard, and is furnished with comfort in mind, and enjoys a good sized, fully equipped kitchen.
The resort of Elounda is less than 10 minute's drive away, and offers a wide choice of restaurants, bars and beaches. Here you will find boat hire, various water sports and the opportunity to book excursions to places of interest such as the Palace of Knossos, the Samaria Gorge, the island of Spinalonga, (as featured in Victoria Hyslop's book 'The Island' ) and Chrissi Island. The town of Agios Nikolaos is only 12 km away along the coast road and offers a wide selection of shops and night life. For the more adventurous, a 2 hour drive along the spectacular coast road will bring you to Sitia and the only palm forest in Europe on the beach at Vai (where the Bounty Bar adverts were filmed). A 1 hour drive takes you to Ierepetra on the South coast which is the sunniest and most Southerly town in Europe.
