Son Macià is situated in the South East in the municipality of Manacor. Its origin is the agroupation of spread rural houses that surrounded a church, a school and a group of houses called Ses Cases Grans or Ses Cases velles of Son Macià.

The eminently rural character has marked, from always, the economic base of the village that has preserved its traditions nowadays still enjoyed.

In the area is a considerable number of archaeological remains like the dolmen of Son Vaquer; natural and artificial caves, which were used as burials like the Picot des Fangar; and of the talayot period the important settlement of s'Hospitalet Vell

Fantastic villa

If you are looking for a large 6 bed villa look no further that this one. I took my family there for my 60th birthday. 8 adults and 3 under 5. The villa is a large fairly new build and spotless clean. The pool was used every day along with the BBQ area which had its own fridge freezer to put all the BBQ food and drink. The villa has two lounges both with flat screen tv's. the villa is a short car ride to the nearest beach with restaurants. The villa is also in the hills and commands a fantastic view of the coast. You need not worry about upsetting the neighbour's as we never saw any.
The owner Barbara met us on arrival and did not mind us being an hour early likewise said we could stay on for a couple of hours when we left as long as the bedrooms were empty. She is a very helpful lady who speaks very good English.
All in all a fantastic place to stay for your holiday.
