It was a perfect house for a family holiday,

The house was clean and well furnished and a perfect location with the beach, the recreation ground and the pub just minutes away. You can also walk to the center of the town and to the pier to catch the catamaran or the hovercraft to the mainland.

Excellent

  • 5 out of 5
A great property, ideal for couples, groups and families. You can walk to the beach, pubs and restaurants. You don't need to use the car as there is a regular bus service from Ryde. You will receive an excellent service from the owner, friendly and helpful. The people on the island are friendly and welcome you with a smile. We were a party of seven adults and this was the 14th year that we have gone away together. The property and location ticked all the boxes. We would definitely return.

The property was clean, well positioned.

We were all very impressed with the property and the I O W. To the extent that we would love to come again. Despite a large age difference of people in our party we found something do do for everyone. The beach hut was a very welcome suprise that we did not know about before we arrived. The owner was a very friendly lady and helpfull to suggest places to visit. The property is within walking distance of all facilities and transport. There are some good tourist brochures available from the house and pier bus station

Absolutely Amazing House in a Fantastic Location!

  • 5 out of 5
I booked the property for my moms 70th Birthday and there was 8 of us staying. The house was better than I expected and it was perfectly located. Ryde is our favourite place to stay on the island and we have fond memories from when my sister and I were young, near to the beach and shops!
The only thing i would say about the house is the furnishings are cream so not great if children are staying.
I would definitely recommend this property for any time of the year.
The Jousting at carisbrook castle was great fun and the cafe at seaview is perfect to soak in the views whilst enjoying some nice food.
The Isle of Wight never fails to deliver!!

Lovely stay at Tea Tree Cottage

  • 5 out of 5
The first thing we noticed when we arrived to the property was that it was clean and tidy. It also had a huge amount of information about activities in Ryde and the Isle of Wight, pubs, restaurants... etc.
The house is very spacious and has a very well provided kitchen and a very comfortable living room. The courtyard when sunny is wonderfull.
As we stay 5 weeks we were provided with clean linen each week. At our arrival we found fresh milk, butter, bread, marmalade... etc. ready in the kitchen for us... thank you very much Cathy!!
If we comeback to IOW next year (rather sure) we will book again the same property. I highly recommend this cottage.

Lovely cottage

  • 5 out of 5
The photos of Tea Tree Cottage did not disappoint. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. It was a short walk to the wide sandy beaches and the kids also loved the funfair and the several playgrounds and water park alongside the beaches. Both the house and the location made it a very easy holiday with three small children. And the many other attractions on the Isle of Wight such as Osbourne House and the zoo gave us plenty of ways to fill the few drizzly days we had. We went for the hot tub option which was definitely a highlight and even more worthwhile on the cooler days. Would highly recommend the cottage for a family holiday.
