Nothing ever missed, very relaxing!

We have been here several times and always felt very comfortable. The apartment is really modern and nicely decorated, especially the kitchen is very well equipped. There are real stunning views, and this is not promised too much! And one step beyond you find the probably best Cornish surf spot.

Now with Wi-Fi inside one more reason for coming back again. If it is still available ...

Excellent accommodation clean and very comfortable with every attention to detail. Location very good. Owner very helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. It was very helpful to have a garage as parking very difficult in St Ives. All in all a 1st class holiday

A perfect place to stay minutes from the beach and the cobbled streets of st ives. A very clean and comfortable apartment the owners have thought of everything. Big bonus was the garage as we didn't use the car all week! Loved it, would have no hesitation returning or recommending to others.

Thoroughly gorgeous!

I cannot recommend this property and the owners enough. Ian and Caroline have provided the most excellent customer service. The apartment matched the description, if anything it was even better. The layout is perfect and the views are stunning. Personally, I prefer to look over the town towards Smeaton's Pier rather than over Porthmeor (Surfs Up apartment) so this was the ideal choice for me. We adore St Ives, its restaurants, its walks, its beautiful streets and we could not have found a better base from which to enjoy every minute. Thank you very much, Ian and Caroline.

Lovely relaxing visit

We had wanted somewhere really nice to stay in St Ives to celebrate my 50th birthday. And we found it in Surf's Up. The apartment was lovely, clean and comfortable and we loved all the pictures and extra touches in the kitchen.

It was a great time of year to visit St Ives, as hardly anybody else there! And the apartment is a great location for both coastal walks and exploring St Ives. We hope to return and maybe stay in Wave 5 to get the views in the other direction.

We loved St Ives with all its little streets and art galleries, huge empty beaches, and endless photo opportunities!

Perfect Holiday Apartment

Having stayed in 'Surf's Up' many times 'Wave 5' needed to be as excellent as 'Surfs Up' had been!! It was!!! It was perfect. The views are fantastic, the accommodation is luxury. The location is perfect to suit all types of holiday's. I would recommend this apartment time and time again. We will be staying here hopefully very soon!!!

Wave 5 is in the heart of St Ives a lovely historic Cornish fishing village with a maze of cobbled streets jumbled with restaurants, galleries, pubs and clubs. Its many attractions are activities such as swimming, surfing, body boarding, walking, tennis, horse riding, scuba diving and deep sea fishing. Take the scenic train journey to Carbis bay beach or all the way to St Erth and back. St Ives has a history in the pilchard trade and during the season there is an opportunity to join 'Shanty Baba', to hear some of the local tales. Food is on offer in restaurants, cafes and pubs offering fresh locally caught fish. Entertainment in the summer can be found at the open air theatre not too far away. Other attractions near by are the Eden Project, Flambards and the gardens at Helygon close to the Helford River.
