Just 5 minutes walking distance from the lively Algarve fishing town of Carvoeiro, Colina Branca townhouses are the perfect base for your holiday on the beautiful Algarve. The spacious ''Superb' and 'Traditional' style townhouses sleep up to 4 or 5 people in 2 bedrooms. The 'Larger Family' Style townhouse sleeps up to a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children in two and a half bedrooms. All houses have a family bathroom and an en-suite shower room. The houses are situated on a tranquil elevated position enjoying splendid sea and countryside views from their private roof terraces and balconies, and are only metres from the large communal swimming pool and lush landscaped gardens.

Colina Branca townhouse accommodation consists of a spacious living/dining room, well equipped kitchen, family bathroom and either 2 or 3 bedrooms, one of which also has an ensuite.

From the living room patio doors lead to the fantastic South facing terrace with a superb view over Carvoeiro and the ocean, ideal for al-fresco dining or lounging in the glorious sunshine. All houses have a car port for private car parking. Colina Branca has its own landscaped gardens in addition to the communal swimming pool, which are both lit up at night.

The 'Superb' Colina Branca Townhouse has a comfortably furnished living room/diner with English satellite TV. There is a selection of books to read. From the living room there is a large sheltered south-facing sun terrace with a stunning view of the sea overlooking the bay of Carvoeiro. The fitted kitchen is well-equipped with fridge-freezer, washing machine, electric oven, hob and microwave. On the lower floor, there are two large bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room and also a full family bathroom. There is a private sheltered car parking space outside the front door, and lush tropical gardens. The property is a just a short walk to the large shared swimming pool, with ample sun loungers and umbrellas where you can lie and soak up the sunshine all day. Within 5 minutes walking distance is the centre of Carvoeiro, with an array of bars and restaurants, plus of course, the lovely soft, sandy beach. Many golf courses lie within a few minutes drive.

Carvoeiro is a bustling Algarve village with a fantastic array of lively bars, restaurants and shops. The restaurants cater for all tastes, the local Portuguese specialities being fish and seafood dishes.

There are a selection of Algarve beaches close by, some large and busy with toilet and restaurant facilities, some smaller secluded coves, and amazing cliff top walks for those enjoying hiking and rambling. The Monchique mountain, which is the highest point of the Algarve, is just a short drive away, and the historic town of Silves, which was once the capital city of Portugal, with it's ancient castle and museums is also nearby.

For children, there is Slide and Splash water park and Aqualand, both only a 15 minute drive from Carvoeiro, and Zoomarine which is home to dolphins, seals and other marine life. The dolphin show is something spectacular for all the family to see, as well as the high diving show. Other nearby attractions include Carvoeiro tennis club, diving school, riding centre and beauty therapy and massage services.

There are several golf courses within a short driving distance from the townhouses including the SIlves Pestana course, and the famous Amendoeira Golf course which is the largest in Europe, with bowling and fitness centre among it's many facilities. Other nearby golf courses include the Pestana and Gramacho courses at Lagoa, and Morgado set in the Monchique mountain foothills. Slightly further away, but still only a 30 minute drive are courses at Praia da Luz to the West, and the championship course at Vilamoura to the East.

Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many of the courses.

Notes

  • The 'Superb'-style Colina Branca townhouse has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 people. Subject to availability, a 5th person may be accommodated in one of the bedrooms for a supplemental charge of £ 50 per week. Prices shown in UK Pounds but we also accept Euros.
    A deposit of 25% or £100, whichever is the greater, is necessary to confirm a booking. The full balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival date. We accept payment in Sterling or Euros made via bank transfer or cheque. A refundable security deposit £100/€ 150 is to be paid with balance. This deposit is held against any damage or breakages incurred during the rental period and will be returned within 2 weeks of departure providing no breakages have occurred during your stay.
    Entry to the apartment is after 2 pm, (though the maids may still be working if you arrive early afternoon). On departure day you must vacate by 10 a.m. (should you need to arrive earlier or leave later we will do our utmost to help you).
  • High Summer minimum 7 nights stay. Off-season minimum 4 night stay acceptable.
    To safeguard your booking CREDIT CARD PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL IS ACCEPTED.

    LONG WINTER LETS AVAILABLE - SPECIAL LOW PRICES.... In Winter electricity is charged per unit used.
    All bed linen, bath/hand towels and tea towels are provided. Please bring your own pool or beach towels.

    Maid service twice a week to change towels, bed linen changed once a week, all included in the price.
    Car hire and airport transfers arranged on request. Please ask for prices.

    We have more apartments and villas available for rent, please email us to see our website. A Welcome Pack can be provided for you upon request, so you don't need to rush to the shops upon arrival.
  • Our friendly English speaking staff are on hand to welcome you, assist you when necessary and recommend places to visit.
    As a small family business we look after a few villas in the area. We live locally, and know the area extremely well. We will provide you with detailed directions to the villa before your arrival. We meet and greet you, and provide you with local information and organize taxi or/and a car hire. We look after our guests and make sure that everything is in order in the villa.
    A Welcome Pack can be provided for you on arrival, upon request, for a small extra charge. We can provide babies cots, high chairs, baby bath, steriliser and listening device by prior arrangement. We can organise a Baby Welcome Pack (nappies, wet wipes, formula milk, baby food, etc.) if required, just ask. We have reliable babysitters who will care for your children during the daytime or evening if you should require some time without the kids! Please ask for details.

Colina Branca - Perfect Choice!!

Colina Branca is a small development of townhouses, and a perfect choice for a family holiday.
We stayted in a 2/3 bedroom townhouse which slept 5 people comfortably. The lounge/dining area was furnished very well in Portuguese style and the patio doors opened onto a very spacious sun terrace which included sun loungers and patio furniture. There was a further rooftop sun terrace which was also very spacious and perfect for fantastic views of Carvoeiro. The kitchen was very well equipped even ice packs in the freezer and cool bag to use. The bedrooms were very comfortable each with small private sun terraces. The communal pool area was superb with lots of sun loungers and sun umbrellas. The village/beach is no more than 10 minuets walk from the complex, and you are made very welcome by the locals in all the cafe bars/shops ans restaurants.
We will certainly be returning to Colina Branca .

We have been holidaying in Carvoeiro for the past 12 years, off and on. We have stayed in Villa's as well as the Town Houses in Colina Branca. The Colina Branca houses are superb. The size of the house and the sun balcony is just perfect for our needs. It was clean and tidy and provided more than we expected. This year we had 3 generations in our party ranging from 17 to 71 and there was ample space for all including an en-suite bathroom in one of the bedrooms so my Mum had more privacy in the mornings and getting ready to go out at night. The pool is a really good size. Deep at one end and nice and shallow at the other so the pool would suit most people. We never had to get up in the morning to put towels out as there was always sun beds available regardless of the time we got to the pool and all 6 of us got a bed and a sun umbrella if needed.
The whole of Carvoeiro is built on the hillside of what was probably a simple valley many centurys ago. There is no avoiding either steep hills or steps. Colina Branca is no different. You can walk up 'donkey hill' to get to the villas or go past the hill and take the stairs. 95 steps up to our villa! After coming off the beach and having lunch in Smilers it is only 40 steps from the raod to get to the pool which was a good place to stop. I do have to say that the steps did not affect our holiday one bit. Infact it made us all feel we deserved the ice cream after dinner because we had put in a bit of extra effort using the stairs.
We have already booked for next year and just can't wait to get back to the place we feel is our second home.

Lovley holiday!

We have recently returned from a fabulous holiday staying at colina branca townhouse, the townhouse was as described, if not bigger than we imagined it was going to be and had everything we required, though we would have loved air conditioning as it was very hot. Though the bedrooms are downstairs and it is slightly cooler there. It is situated close to shops, beach and restaurants, however it is on a very steep hill and therefore not for anyone with difficulty walking! The pool was never too busy, even in August and was nice and clean. If we return to Carvoeiro, which we hope to do, we would definitely return to colina branca.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
