4 bedroom villa, sleeps 8 near Lake Viñuela

Casa de la Colina, The House on the Hill, sits facing south west in its own olive grove and grounds, surrounded by covered and open terraces. The villa is spacious, light and airy with 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8 people, a large comfortable sitting room with full Sky TV, DVD player and a log fireplace with patio doors leading out to the pool and looking out at the glorious views. The attractive fitted and well equipped kitchen/diner has French doors and patio doors also leading to the terrace and the 9 x 4m heated pool with Roman steps. The villa has ducted air-conditioning and central heating throughout. It is designed to be cool in summer and warm in winter.Wifi is available for those guests wishing to bring laptops.

I km above the village of Puente don Manuel, up a firm track, the villa sits on a hillside with glorious panoramic views overlooking the Lake Viñuela valley, across to the hilltop Phonecian village of Comares, sweeping over to the ever receding foothills of the Sierra mountains. On the doorstep are quiet tracks to explore through olive groves. For walkers, joggers, bicyclists and nature lovers, it is a short drive to Tejeda National Park with tracks winding through the pine woods.

Notes

  • •A non refundable deposit of 25% of the total rental charge is required with booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before commencement of rental along with a security/breakages deposit of £250 which will be returned within 7days or earlier once the property has been checked.
    •The pool can be heated for an extra charge of £95 per week.
    Included are gardener, pool cleaning and a clean at the end of the stay. A weekly change and maid service is available at a reasonable rate for stays of more than a week.
    Baby and Child equipment, toys etc can be ordered in advance through 'Nursery Needs' and delivered in time for your stay. Please enquire when booking.

  • The two ensuite bathrooms have large walk in showers, the family bathroom has a bath with shower over. All bathrooms are spacious, fully tiled with heated towel rails.

Cotton Percale linen is used throughout the villa. A mid let linen change is offered if required for a small charge. The Master Bedroom has patio doors leading onto the pool terrace. There are en-suite facilities to both The Master Bedroom and Bedroom 2. Hair dryers are supplied.

A Taste of Spanish Luxury - Casa de la Colina

If you're looking for something idyllic, luxurious and secluded with all the space needed to chill out - or indeed party - Casa de la Colina has it all. The weather is of course almost guaranteed. What better way to enjoy it then than to soak up the sun on the private patio and then slip in to the generous size pool. And if you're likely to get bored of relaxing.... the shaded table tennis area provides a welcome respite and good excuse for healthy family competition!
The well constructed charcoal barbecue provides the perfect solution to al fresco dining and we enjoyed succulent steaks from the town's butcher just 1 km away. SKY tv and all the audio entertainment one could require is also all to hand and the villa's efficient air conditioning guaranteed a cool night's sleep. Check out the local bars and restaurants too. The Taj indian was very good and the owner most courteous. We partied in the Scirocco bar till the early hours and enjoyed walks around the Lake. Couple all that with the Manager's (Raimondo) attention to detail and passion for excellence we couldn't recomend this place highly enough ! Thank you very much for a lovely ans sunny holiday week here in Casa de la Colina.Our favourite place was the swimmong pool although we visited Nerja,Malaga and Comares( which you can see on top of the mountain)We wish to come back later as the week went too fast.Next time it will be two weeks !!Sauli & Family

What a place to relax!A big thankyou to Ray & Tim. Loved the pool & table tennis,think we'll need to come back for Mick to try & win a game!!!
Can highly recommend Hotel Vinuela for a Special meal.

Came here for a bit of a laugh
Three generations had fun
Enjoyed the pool and the sun
Then sadly made tracks back to Bath.
