This apartment is situated on the 7th floor of the stunning Majestic building located close to the center of Chamonix, with high ceilings, wide corridors and beautiful gardens at the foot of the hill towards the Brevent ski area. This apartment offers incredible views of the valley from all aspects with a light, airy and contemporary feel with traditional features and beams. The modern styled kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, 2 ring hob, washing machine and dishwasher. The Lounge / Dining room is spacious and light with wooden floors and an incredible dual aspect, offering views of the whole valley. There is a large L-shaped sofa providing seating for 4, a glass and wood coffee table, a unit with TV and DVD, Euro Satellite, WIFI access and CD player. There is also a dining table to comfortably seat 6 people. The perfect luxury apartment for a self-catered holiday in Chamonix.

Skiing in Chamonix Skiing Information:: This stylish 7th floor apartment is located is close to the center of Chamonix. A stones throw from all amenities in Chamonix. It is just a short walk to the nursery slopes and Brevant lift, and a few steps from the ESF ski school.

Chamonix provides skiing for all abilities with nursery slopes at Les Planards and Les Chosalets, however it is ideal for the intermediate and advanced skier. The intermediate runs will provide excellent groomed pistes, trails and mogul fields. For the expert skier there is limitless off piste skiing and some of the steepest and most challenging runs in the Alps including the awe-inspiring run down the Vallee Blanche with mountain guide. The apartment is located close to the nursery slopes, and main bubble cable car, at Brévent.

SUMMER IN CHAMONIX: When the snow has melted, Chamonix still has plenty of activities to offer, from mountaineering to white water rafting as well as more general sports and leisure activities such as tennis and squash, horse riding, bowling, swimming and fitness. The car-free center of town is full of atmosphere and very cosmopolitan, with cobbled streets and squares, beautiful old buildings built around a fast-running glacial river. The atmosphere is lively and bustling with a good variety of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. For trekking and hiking, the Chamonix valley has the most comprehensive and clearly indicated network of mountain paths in the Haute-Savoie. There are over 350km of marked paths along the valley leading up to the glaciers. Chamonix has a wealth of mountain biking opportunities for all ages and abilities. All the cable car systems run in the summer, giving opportunities for down hilling as well as numerous cross-country trails up and down the valley.

SKIING: Chamonix provides skiing for all abilities with nursery slopes at Les Planards, Les Chosalets as well great ski schools at all the ski resorts. However, Chamonix is ideal for the intermediate and advanced skier. The intermediate runs boast excellent groomed pistes, trails and mogul fields. For the expert skier there is limitless off piste skiing and some of the steepest and most challenging runs in the Alps including the awe-inspiring 22km ski down the Vallée Blanche on the Mer de Glace with a mountain guide.

The skiing in the Chamonix Valley is spread over 5 separate areas which are linked by a regular and efficient bus service included in the lift pass. At the base of the Valley is Les Houches. From the Chamonix center Le Brévent which is linked to La Flégère. Up the Valley is Les Grands Montets at Argentière and finally Le Tour.

Our recommendation is that you fly to Geneva airport it is only 50 miles to Chamonix and takes little more than an hour. You may choose to hire a car or we can arrange a transfer for you. You may choose to travel by train or public bus from the airport although the journey takes much longer.

Chamonix is best known for its extreme skiing, climbing, high mountain hiking and mountain biking. This busy alpine village is extremely popular in the winter and summer seasons with tourists clambering for a glimpse of Mont Blanc. Chamonix has all the facilities of a town with a great variety of shops, restaurants and bars, cinema, museums, sports center, ice-skating, tennis, squash, swimming pools and 18 hole golf course. There are fabulous walking and running trails all over the valley as well as xc mountain biking and down hilling and unlimited climbing areas for all abilities. The skiing/snowboarding is ideal for intermediate and advanced skiers, but also great ski schools for beginners.

Golf: Golf Information The golf course in the Chamonix valley has a high standard with excellent facilities. It is situated next to the village of Les Praz. Constructed in 1934, originally with 4 holes, it was officially opened on the 20 July 1935 with 9 holes completed. It was only in 1972 the council decided on a further 9 holes. So 10 years later, on the 26 September 1982 it was re launched with 18 holes. A technical course designed by the prestigious architect Robert Trent Jones Senior, who knew how to make the most of the environment. The course is notable for its numerous obstacles and raised greens. There is a driving range of 29 bays of which 14 are covered, 2 training greens and 2 bunkers.     We accept Payment in Sterling or Euro, by cheque, bank transfer, and we also accept credit/debit cards (fee of 2.85%).

    Your booking is confirmed with payment of 30% first installment to be completed within 7 days of reservation.
    Your final payment of 70% payable no later than 8 weeks PRIOR to arrival.

    There will be a cautionary damage deposit to arrange, we will confirm details with you.
