Three bedroom cottage on the edge of the Chiltern Hills, Brewery Cottage

Brewery Cottage is a spacious holiday cottage in a beautiful part of Bedfordshire. The cottage is situated at Mead Open Farm in the village of Billington which is near the market town of Leighton Buzzard. The Heast family has run the farm for 50 years, and for the past ten years it has been run as a working farm that is open to the public daily. The farm exhibits a range of indoor and outdoor animals, and has outdoor climbing frames and a heated indoor play-barn that is well used in the winter months. Children are very welcome in Brewery Cottage and with the Open Farm on the cottage doorstep this makes an ideal setting for a family holiday (whilst staying at the cottage a free pass to the Open Farm is available). Brewery Cottage is a comfortable, fully furnished and well-equipped semi-detached holiday cottage, geared for short lets. All linen and towels are provided. This is a three bedroom property, with a ground floor twin, and upstairs, a double and a single. The single bedroom has a pull out bed that converts the room into a small twin which is ideal for children. A cot and a highchair can be provided upon request. There is a downstairs cloakroom, and upstairs a family bathroom and an en-suite to the master bedroom. The kitchen/dining Room is well equipped with a cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. The room is open plan to the dining area, providing seating for six people, and through to the sitting room. The adjacent utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. The property has oil fired central heating and in the very spacious sitting area there is an open fireplace with a flame-effect gas fire. For your entertainment there is a radio, a television (with Freeview), a DVD player, a CD system and board games. French doors lead from the sitting room to the patio area that overlooks 150ft of pretty, well-maintained, mature gardens. Off road parking is available for tenant`s use. Brewery Cottage has recently been awarded 4 Stars by the Quality Tourism Assessment Scheme. Broadband by wireless hub.

We arrived home to Australia this morning after three weeks at Brewery Cottage. The owner, Sue Heast greeted us at the door to the cottage when we arrived and made us feel most welcome immediately by providing tea & coffee and basic breakfast ingredients and ensuring that the heating had warmed the entire house. We found the cottage spotlessly clean, very well appointed and most spacious for two. It would have been equally comfortable for 4-6 guests.

we didn't stay in this particular rental but one owned by the same company in Ivinghoe. Tremendous place. Lovely countryside pubs and restaurants within walking dostsance and easy rto get to London by train. Although we were there in the grips of winter the condo was warm and wonderful. There's no doubt we'd book with Home Away any time.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette location nette , propre, agréablement décorée ,extrêmement confortable et bien équipée .
La région est magnifique et très old England , pour ceux qui connaissent l'Angleterre traditionnelle . Oxford , les villages , le Chateau de Blenheim sont autant de points de visite .
Le seul problème a été de trouver une villa que personne ne connaissait , avec une adresse très succinte de Let's unlimited . Il aurait fallu préciser entre Billington et Great Billington et dire que c'était jumelé à Open Mead Farm , qui est indiqué au bord de la route , donner le nom exact de la route et enfin le code postal précis qui permet de trouver directement sur un navigateur type Tom Tom .

Leighton Buzzard is a glorious market town located in the county of Bedfordshire. One of the areas main attractions is the Leighton Buzzard railway, one of Britain's leading narrow gauge railways that escorts you back to a time forgotten, you can ride the train every Sunday and Bank Holiday. The back drop of the Chiltern Hills provides great walks and areas for exploring or if you fancy a more energetic day out why not take a trip to Ascott, Woburn Abbey or even Milton Keynes for a day shopping. There are excellent pubs and restaurants in Leighton Buzzard and a trip to the Tuesday or Saturday market is a must for any holiday maker.
