Sleeps 6 - 8 people. This is a two-floor, 110 m2 apartment. On the first floor is a magnificent living room with a sofa bed, an open-plan kitchen and a toilet. On the ground floor are three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The apartment has (hot and cold) air conditioning in all of the rooms, a television and an iron. The kitchen is fully equipped with a glass-ceramic hob, a washing machine, a dishwasher, a fridge, an oven and a microwave.

Our houses are situated in the most charming area of the city; an exceptional place for tourism, for walking and for enjoying the climate and the streets. In this area, one not-to-be missed monument is the Giralda, which is now the Cathedral tower, one of the highest in Christian churches. Other places of interest include the Alcázar, the Torre del Oro, the Casa de Pilatos, the City Hall, the Archivo de Indias, the Fine Arts Museum (the second largest in Spain in number of paintings), as well as the many convents, churches and palaces.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartments are situated in the best shopping area in Seville. In addition to the appeal of being in the historic centre, the houses are surrounded by three Corte Inglés department stores and directly linked to the famous shopping streets of Sierpes and Tetuán. These two parallel streets house all kinds of shops, including Adolfo Domínguez, Escada, Hugo Boss, Hermes Govantes, Burberry, and Cortefiel. In addition, you can find a wide range of shops selling young fashion, such as Zara, Máximo Dutti and Mango among others. There are numerous shoe shops, including Nicolás and los Pequeños Suizos, as well as jeweller’s shops such as Abrines, Alberto Salas, Román or Tous. In addition, there are bookshops, cafes and shops for babies such as Luna Lunera.

Parallel to Sierpes is calle Cuna, which is famous, among other things, for its many bridal wear shops and shops selling party accessories, including Pronovias, Rosa Clará, Franc Sarabia, Novias Silgado and Merchén Tomás.

The magnificent, recent pedestrianisation of the historic centre of Seville has made the shopping area much more peaceful, particularly the Plaza Nueva, which is 10 minutes on foot from the houses. In this plaza we can find renowned shops such as Loewe, Carolina Herrera, Purificación García, Tommy Hilfiguer, Agua de Sevilla, as well as the shops of Victorio y Lucchino, Max Mara, and many others.

Only 5,minutes on foot from the apartments is the Avenida de la Constitución, which was also recently pedestrianised and connected by the Metro Centro tramline to make transport along the Avenue easier. The Cathedral of Seville, one of the city’s main attractions, is in this avenue. Large shops such as the recently-opened Fnac can also be found here.

Its a great apartment, located in the very center of Seville. Close 2 the Cathedral, the museum and all the nice places u can visit.
The house was very clean and very comfortable. The woman that attended us was very kind.
We spend a great time in the City and in the apartment, and we hope 2 come back again soon.
I totally recomend.

Our stay here was one of the best we've ever had. We totally fell in love with the Andalucian decoration and touch. Location is phenomenal. Close to everything. The building itself is lovely, and beautifully reflects the feel of the city.As well we were very satisfied with how tidy and clean it was. Probabily hard to find a better price quality deal in Seville.

Its the second time Ive been in Las Casas de Moratin and I have to say its always impecable. Very clean, amazing location - right in the middle of old town walking distance to everything, and very spacious house. If you have any problem they solve it really fast. Amazing service! We are missing already Seville

We just landed in Frankfurt and we are already missing Seville. We enjoyed such wonderful History, great markets, wonderful and fascinating streets, food (the tapas are absolutely amazing) and flamenco.

I would like to thank homeaway for letting us know about this apartment and specialy would like to thank Tomas for the use of this charming apartment during our stay in Sevilla. The accomodation facilities were FIRST CLASS. Everything was so nice, clean and stylish. Thanks again and we will be back for many more visits.

Location yes, luxury, NO!

Now that we have had the chance to reflect on our stay at Grande Casa De Moratin here are a few observations:

1. On arrival at 2p.m. the house was not ready for us and the housekeeper asked us to come back at 5 p.m. While the housekeeper is a very nice and polite individual, she speaks only Spanish and presented me with a rental agreement completely in Spanish. We rent all over the world and I think you should take care of the rental agreement ahead of the arrival and in the language of the person renting your property.

2. Having to pay completely in cash is a major inconvenience!

3. While the home was spotless and located in the perfect area of Sevilla, there were two huge dining tables in the lower living area, so very difficult to move around. The beds in the lower level bedroom are hard as rock! Overall the living space is not luxury at all, it is in dire need of a spruce up!

It is very typical to walk around and enjoy them the neighborhoods of La Macarena, Triana, Santa Cruz y San Bartolomé,Maestranza Bullring, Maria Luisa Park and the river and its bridges.

The Romans established the colony of Italica in the nearby town of Santiponce, the ruins of this city can be visited at present.
