A fishing enthusiasts region ! The lake in Vares, where Pie Pasquie is situated has sizeable Carp, Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd & Pike. A 2 -3 minute drive, or can be walked.The river Garonne & river Lot, within 10 & 20 minutes respectively, have large Carp, Black Bass, Pike & Catfish. Aside from the plentiful vineyards in the region, the area is well known for is productivity of plums and prunes. Nature lovers can enjoy the wildflowers and birds as well as the undulating countryside which is perfect for walking
There is golf at Villeneuve Sur Lot Golf & Country Club, an 18-hole championship course, and at Tombeboeuf there is a 9-hole golf course with practice area and a pro shop. Both golf courses have clubs, trolleys and buggies for hire.
Agen, apart from its renowned art museum, has Park Walibi, a big amusement park that is always fun for the children. At Clariac there is the Magic Forest, again great fun for the children. The Magique Chaudron is a must for the children. This is an angora goat farm where the children can help to bottle feed the kids at certain times of the year and even help with the milking and cheese making.
