Why Jane Mawer chose Prades
Prades is situated in a beautiful and varied area with access to many activities and places of interest and a wonderful climate. The house is just of the central main square. It is an old stone house, one of the oldest in Prades, and was in need of considerable renovation when bought in 2006. It has retained a unique and homely charm, much appreciated by guests.
What makes this house unique
This house is within a short walking distance of all shops and amenites and the wonderful Tuesday market and is ideally situated for people attending the nearby spa for tratment. It has the added advantage of private parking and a small garage. There is a very large sun terrace (shaded with cannise during the summer) and a shady courtyard. The large open cellar has table tennis and a spare fridge. There is plenty of storeage space for bikes and equipment. The house is looked after by Judy and Chris Bloomfield, who meet guests on arrival and are available if needed.
