Spend Your Summer Holidays In This Luxury Apartment In The Alps

We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to base ourselves during our holiday in Switzerland. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment was immaculate, well equipped and tastefully decorated. It was a warm, comfortable and inviting home to return to after exploring the amazing surroundings. We liked how spacious the bedrooms were and the open plan living area was the perfect place to to while away wintery evenings. It was so nice here we found that we didn't want to leave and visit the local restaurants in the evenings. There is so much to do in the area and the convenient location next to the bus stop was helpful. The skiing was outstanding. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Everything you could possibly need for a holiday flat, a definite if you have 2 older kids requiring separate bedrooms with excellent facilities. Well positioned for access to Lauterbrunnen and the local transport systems, bus stop directly outside. Also well positioned for all the attractions the Berner Oberland has to offer. Well furnished with wi-fi access (a must for teenage boys it seems) and good selection of brochures etc. of things to do. Very friendly and helpful caretaking staff available a phone call away, if required.

However, it is a shame that the view up the valley is obscured by further new developments of a similar size, though a 2 minute walks get you onto paths through fields and by the river. Not mentioned is the camp site over the road which has a fast turn over in coach loads of 18 to 30's arriving daily, this resulted in a noisy bar until around 21.00 hours and over the weekend a disco in a marque until the early hours so not suitable for peace and quiet or young families. If there is construction work up the valley, heavy traffic starts going by early in the morning as well. Sad given the location, facilities and quality of the flat.

We spent 1 week at this beautiful and very comfortable flat. Even when it was a rainy week we had an excellent vacation time and recommend this flat to all families with children.
