Imagine stepping back in time to a beautiful, peaceful home nestled in Big Bear Lake, California! This estate is the original Fox Farm that has been extensively remodeled and renovated, all while keeping the original charm intact. The home sleeps 8 with parking.

Sleeping arrangements:

There are 3 bedrooms with 3 1/2 bathrooms:
-The Master bedroom, which has a Queen bed and a private bathroom
-The upstairs Guest Bedroom which has 1 Queen bed and 1 Double bed
-The upstairs 'Bunk Room', which is complete with 4 twin beds plus TV, DVD, VCR.

Enjoy movies by the wood burning fireplace in the living room, which has a large flat screen TV/DVD. The large farm house kitchen with dishwasher has a convenient half bath plus a spacious sun room to sip your morning coffee while overlooking the grounds.

Kids and adults will enjoy the downstairs game room / play room, complete with pool table, flat screen TV/DVD and foosball table; plus a washer and dryer and a second full sized refrigerator for extra food and drink storage.

Internet Access and free WIFI is included.

Guests are provided with soap, towels, shampoo and bedding. Guests are required to put all dirty linens by the washer machine when they leave and all dishes in the dishwasher running. It is understood that the premises will be left in a neat and orderly condition, free of debris.

Convenient access to outdoor activities such as mountain biking, zip lining hiking, golf, horseback riding fishing, sailing or wakeboarding. The Estate is off Fox Farm Road, 2 minutes from the market, 3 minutes from ski hills, and 4 minutes from the village with boutique shops, restaurants, theaters, and a bowling alley. The empty lot next door to the property leads to great hiking trails.

Year-round recreation areas are located at 7,000 feet in the San Bernardino Mountains northeast of Los Angeles, very close to the estate. There is a taxi service in town, along with Uber and Lyft. A rental car is needed if coming into the area by plane.

The Caretaker lives two houses away and is on call if help is needed. There is no smoking allowed inside and no pets allowed.

WEDDINGS - Although Country Barn Estate is not licensed for events, we ARE licensed for weddings and events for up to 100 guests one mile down the road at Apples Bed & Breakfast Inn, a property we also own. Apples B&B is a uniquely charming, two-story Victorian inn with Craftsman style influences that provides a romantic garden setting surrounded by tall pine trees, and features wedding gazebo. It is the perfect destination venue for weddings! Apples Inn offers a Wedding Suite, in-room massage and delicious home cooking! If you decide to get married in the Big Bear area, please consider Country Barn Estate for your lodging and Apples Bed & Breakfast as your venue.

Property is awesome for families. Huge sled hill in the back with multiple houses where families can have their own space while still being able to hang out as a group. Close to town and both ski resorts.

Loved the sledding slope on property. House 3 is great. House 1 needs general maintenance and repairs. House 2 is minimalist. Quality of linens and towels could be better. Overall worked well for our group.

Awesome family reunion/ blessing ceremony
We had such a wonderful time. The property was gorgeous and each house had wonderful features. I have seen other reviews say the pictures?don't do it justice and they don't! If we are ever able to have a family reunion again in Big Bear, we will definitely stay here. The Barn is amazing!! Santiago and Laurie answered every question we had and allowed us to check in early and check out late. Thank you so much!!
