A duplex with an amazing view over the city and the river in the quietest and most peaceful street of the bohemian Bairro Alto.

The apartment has been completely redecorated in 2011.

In the first floor you will find three bedrooms, a bathroom in black marble and a WC. In the second floor there is the kitchen, the living room with fireplace and the balcony showing a perfect postcard of Lisbon.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lisboa. The apartment exceded our expectations and Andrea, the member or staff was both helpful and charming. The apartment was beautifully laid out with a stunning view of the city and only a short stroll from the city centre, pubs and restaurants. We already have been in touch with Antonio and we will definetly be staying there for next years Optimus Alive festival.

Hidden Gem in a beautiful city

We have just returned from a fantastic trip in a beautiful city. We spent 4 nights in this apartment and cannot rate it highly enough. It has a very central location but is hidden a few streets back from Barrio Alto. The apartment is furnished and finished to a very high standard and has all the facilities you could ask for. Because it is a duplex you have the bedrooms upon entrance to the apartment with the living space up above, with a view that puts the finishing touch on all that was great about it

Antonio was very helpful during booking and also upon arrival. I would highly recommend staying here

Modern apartment, great location

We were very impressed with the apartment. It's location is perfect for sampling the vibrant nightlife which goes on until the early hours, whilst being quiet inside at night and close enough to walk into the city centre, or jump on trams further afield.

The double bedrooms had excellent storage (although there is none in the single bedroom)

The only issues we had were with some of the electrical appliances- a couple of the fans didn't work (very uncomfortable in the heat, and opening windows was too noisy), lightbulbs needed replaced and the fridge was so frozen inside that it flooded the kitchen for 2 days and didn't keep any of our food cold or fresh.

We were asked on arrival if we intended to use the futon, to which we replied that we were.However when we reported the following morning that it was in fact broken, (the wooden mechanism was snapped, meaning that it dipped and could only have weight put on at one end), we were told that they were aware of the problem and no effort was made to rectify this, or the damaged fridge.

Overall we loved our stay, but any more that 4 days would have meant the 'niggles' would have been very annoying.

You also need to be prepared for the insufficient sewerage system in the area which leads to the drains smelling very bad in the hot weather.

Great easter vacation in Lisbon

We spent a very nice Easter vacation in this apartment that was conveniently located in one of the nicest part of Lisbon, Bairro Alto. There was a wide selection of restaurants and little shops nearby, and the central location of the apartment made it easy for us to also explore other parts of Lisbon. The night life in the area is active but we found the place peaceful and quiet, expect Friday night when there seemed to be a major, and quite loud, party going on still at 4 am on the streets.

The apartment was well maintained, and it had a great ambiance arising both from its artistic interior design, warm wooden floors and the beautiful view over the city. We really enjoyed our stay.

The owner was very hospitable and nice for us, and we would warmly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lisbon.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
