Our holidays, they were fantastic. The apartment was exactly what I saw in the web page, and Andrew the owner is very kind so we felt absolutely at home in his place. I´m sure we´ll come back there if we go to Amsterdam again, it is much better than a hotel. And of course, we loved Amsterdam, a quiet but lively city to spend holidays. We experienced the city by boat, by tram, and walking a lot. We entered some museums, like Ana Frank, Van Gogh, and also went to Haarlem where we visited the cathedral and a windmill. Sure there are many things we didn´t have time to do but we are satisfied with the ones we have done, next time more...
We traveled to Amsterdam for a a week, so we decided to stay in an apartment, in order to provide meals for the children. The apartment is very cosi, with a lot of space (for a studio) and the decoration very pleasant. The location is great, with view over a canal. The kitchen is well equiped. For people with some motor difficulties it is not a good choice, since there are 50 stairs until the third floor. If I back in Amesterdam, I would stay in the same place.
It was very good ! The appartement is very nice and cosy. The renter was sympathetic. The accomodation offered everything we expected
The accommodation was very nice, the owner very friendly, we will come back again. The appartement was realy lovely ( outside it needs some aprovement). booking system is OK
We stayed one week in this extraordinary flat. The big room has a nice atmosphere, I liked the black wall. The balcony gives a holiday-feeling. Sometimes the noise of the street is loud, bur after a while, you are used to it and you don`t hear it anymore. You ca go everywhere with the lots of trams around. It was great, to have a computer with Internet in the flat. The host is a very friendly person.
15 times in Amsterdam for my boyfriend and 5th times for myelf, we stayed in the flat last year, came back this year and already looking at dates for next year. The flat is great, Andrew is very accomodating, great location (tram stop downstairs) and if you chose to rent a bike which is really the best option, there is one rental place just across the street and you're in for the best experience ever as the flat is ideally located. Awesome supermarket at the corner of the street as well, few minutes cycling from the cool Jordaan and few cool bars/coffee shops walking distance from the flat. Only down note is that the loo are very small indeed but doesn't ruin the stay at all! Stairs are very stiff indeed but that is the case everywhere in Amsterdam so not bothered about that at all. It is the same price than staying in a tiny hotel room in Central Amsterdam and is definitely a much better experience. Awesome books collection too! Looking very much forward to coming back next year!
This apartment is located in the rather quiet part of Amsterdam West, yet very close to the lively Jordaan area. This location is particularly good for those among you who love experiencing Amsterdam’s nightlife or shopping in the local boutiques, but at the same time would like to retreat from the hustle and bustle every once in a while.Would you like to spend your day sightseeing? The famous Anne Frank House and the Westerkerk are nearby; you can reach both sights within a 15-minute walk.On the corner of the street you will find a 24-hour shop.
