My wife and I live in the city of Palermo, the home of the sea I inherited from my parents. I did do a comprehensive restructuring of the apartment and the terrace in 2006, and every year we gild the apartment and add plants in our terrace.
My wife is a teacher of English, and I before I was a wholesaler of all exotic animals and affection I am now renting my house by the sea only to foreign tourists. I called the house of the sea 'zoovilla' because inside you will find animals in ceramic, wood, iron, and maybe next year you will find birds in a small aviary that is located on the terrace.
My wife and I live in Palermo and when our house is not rented we dive into this place of peace and tranquility. The distance to go to Palermo is 25 km, but it is more convenient to take the train that takes you to the city of Palermo in only 20 minutes. You live in this small fishing village, eating all foods fresh and the best thing that you are away from the smog and traffic and noise of a city like Palermo.
Francesca purchased this villa in 1958
Why Francesca chose Capo Zafferano
This has always been the home of the sea where I learned to swim, to fish, to go under the water and discover all the beauties that there are in these places. My parents had built back in 1958, I was not born yet. I have and I will always have a memory of this great house, the best time to spend time in this house is at the beginning of May and after 15 September, the beach is located the house is deserted seems to be in a film will find much peace and quiet and if you are lucky as we are in Sicily also a mild weather with a chance to take a swim in the crystal clear sea and very clean.
What makes this villa unique
The peace and quiet in the months of less tourist influx, because in 1987 the municipality of Santa Flavia has constructed a ladder for access to all of this lovely beach. I would recommend staying in a holiday during non-tourism for those who love the sea as I've always lived in my childhood.
Guestbook comments from the owner
We loved the beach, the sun and the warmth of the Sicilian way of living. It was very nice, the children loved to play by the sea. Two weeks in Sicily is too short! The nature, the culture, the people and the food are great. The comfort of your house together with the sound of the sea and the lamps of the fishermen's boats in the evening we 'll not easily forget! Thanks also for being so friendly and helpful.
