About the apartment:
Paint, carpet, heat & air, and appliances are all new and fresh.
This is a really charmingly private 800-sq.-ft. suburban retreat, nestled discreetly at one end of a large home in the quiet suburbs of northern Atlanta (Roswell). In addition to a spacious den and comfortable king-sized bedroom with uber-comfortable pillow-top mattress, it has a morning kitchen-wet bar. It has three sets of French doors opening to a private tree-lined deck. It has a travertine shower and five closets. It is completely partitioned from the rest of the home and has its own private entrance.
The suite consists of several rooms:
--The den has double french-door entry, a 42' flat screen TV, and a desk (with a 24' flat screen monitor, a keyboard and a mouse). It also has HD DVR with 150+ channels and HD DVD player capable of streaming - you can download and watch films over the shared high speed Internet with 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds inside the suite and on the deck.
--The granite topped morning kitchen has dishwasher, garbage disposal, a Keurig coffee maker, and a toaster. Just around the corner you will find a convection counter top oven. a microwave, a refrigerator with ice maker and a washer dryer unit.
--You enter your bedroom through a hallway that is lined with book cases (for fun reads on dozens of topics). There are pocket doors to close off the bedroom from the rest of the suite if desired. The bedroom has an uber-comfortable king-sized pillow top bed, including fluffy pillows and high thread-count sheets. Bedroom and den both have lighted ceiling fans great for summer evenings with the French doors open to the deck.
--The bathroom, brightened by skylights, has a jacuzzi, a granite floor, granite shower walls and a marble topped sink area. You will find a fluffy terry robe for your convenience, as well as a blow-dryer.
--You have your own zoned A/C and heat controls.
The deck is laced with filtered sunlight from the 40-50 yr. old oak trees. It has a stainless Weber Genesis grill with side burner and grilling utensils, a comfortable table and chair set, easy chairs on one end and a small outdoor couch on the other. About one third of the deck is covered.
About the surrounding area and what it has to offer:

About Lisa Livingston
Hi, my husband and I share lots of the same hobbies... we scuba dive, fly a small plane, hike, kayak and swim/bike/run... yes, we are enjoying triathlons in our golden years. :)
Lisa Livingston purchased this apartment in 1996
Why Lisa Livingston chose Head Lake
This is the home where I raised my kids and it has lots of memories for us all. It has been completely remodeled and expanded... adding lots of windows and skylights, vaulting ceilings and so much more. Each of the five bedrooms is either on its own private floor or private wing of the home. And each bedroom has its own private bath and private access to the outdoors. It's truly charming and unique.
What makes this apartment unique
There are so many things to do in Atlanta and especially on the north side of town. This home is nestled on a quiet street. This apartment, in particular, is packed with intimate quaintness and unexpected nooks and crannies... with lots of doors that go our onto your own huge deck. All of it is laced with beautifully filtered light from many oak trees that populate the back and side yard. It is so much better than a hotel...
