Enter via a circular driveway with fountain. Property consists of a Main House and Guest Suite Apartment above the two-car Garage, with Separate Outdoor Entrance. The House can be rented With or Without the Apartment. The Apartment can also be rented separately. Main House has 3 Q Bedrooms and 3 Full Baths on Ground Level, plus 3 Twin beds in 2 Lofts, sleeping a total of 9. All downstairs bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with marble showers, soaking tubs, some double sinks and electric fireplaces. Master Suite has Jacuzzi. All downstairs rooms have outdoor access, many 22 ft. ceilings, and Panoramic Views through huge windows. There is a Home Theater with 70' Flat TV Screen which seats eight in the loft above the LR Home Theater has Netflix streaming and a Blue Ray DVE Player. Loft also has a small bedroom with two twin beds. There are flat screen TV's in Master Bedroom and Great Room. Great Room also has a Blue Ray DVD Player. Above the Master Bedroom, there is an Office Loft with Twin Daybed and Computer. There is a 1250 sq. ft. deck across the back of the house, with a 93 jet hot tub, Barbecue, Outdoor Refrigerator, Dining and Seating Space, and chaise lounges. The Guest Apartment also has a private Balcony. The house is especially suitable for three couples, four if the Guest Apartment is included. The 2-room Guest Suite Apartment has a Q bed and optional twin sofa bed, Kitchen, Double Shower, Soaking Tub, Flat Screen TV, WiFi, A/C, W/D, Electric Fireplace, and Private Balcony. I am an Interior Designer and I built this, my dream home, in Shady Cove, OR., after several years of widowhood in Tiburon, Ca. I have lived in the house for one year and would like to share its beauty and functionality. I am also a Paris-trained Chef (Le Cordon Bleu), and am available to cook Dinners during your stay.

My late husband and I owned a vacation home in this area in the '90s, and traveled here frequently from the Bay Area before selling it to friends. When he passed away, I wanted to live in a quiet and beautiful setting in a small town with all of the necessities, and the spot where I built my house fitted this description. I had friends here, and the outdoor activities available also appealed to me. The opportunity to build this contemporary log home with so many great details was a wonderful challenge.
The Main House has a wood-burning River Rock FP with rocks gathered from this property during excavation. It is a replica of the FP at Crater Lake Lodge. The back of the FP is in the Master BR and has a vent-free, catalytic gas FP. There is a Gourmet Kitchen, with Wolf and Subzero Appliances, Granite in countertops and splashes, Custom Lighting, and many exquisite details. The house also has Custom Lighting throughout, Theater Room with 70' Flat Screen TV and Surround Sound in Loft above Great Room, and 2 additional Flat Screen TV's, in Master Bedroom and Living Room, Office, Reading Alcove, Bunk Room, W/D, AC, WiFi, and gorgeous hardwood floors. The 1200 sq. ft. deck has Dining Table, Barbecue, Refrigerator, Seating Area, 93 Jet Hot Tub, and access to all rooms. Two-car Garage.
Property is located in small town on the Rogue River, with River Access at bottom of hill, for flyfishing, boating and rafting. Ashland is 40 miles to the West, Crater Lake is 60 miles to the East. Stewart State Park is nearby, with miles of paved walking and biking trails. Lost Creek Lake offers beach, boating, and fishing. Rogue River is steps from the front door, and offers fishing, rafting, and boating.
