2 Bedroom semi-detached bungalow, sleeps 4, Walberton, near picturesque Arundel

Attractive bungalow adjoined to owners accommodation in the village of Walberton. The property has two bedrooms, lounge/diner, kitchen and shower room. Bedroom 1 is a double with built in wardrobes and chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 has bunk beds with free standing wardrobe and chest of drawers. The lounge benefits from a large picture window looking out onto the front garden, cosy gas fire, large television with freeview and DVD player. There is a dining table and four chairs. The kitchen has built-in oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. The bathroom has a walk in shower. There is a secluded pretty garden to the rear of the property which is ideal for BBQs and is child friendly. The garden has a lovely swing seat and table and chairs. There is parking for two cars at the side of the property. Arrival time 3 pm and departure time 10 am. Please note the property is non smoking and we do not accept pets.

Local Area: Walberton is a pretty village set on the South Downs set between the cathedral cities of Arundel and Chichester, so plenty to see. A little further out you will find the very fashionable city of Brighton and historic Portsmouth with its dock yards and ferry terminals. The beautiful race course of Goodwood is set on the Downs and only 5 miles away and right on the door step is Fontwell race course. There are excellent Golf facilities at the nearby Avisford Park Hotel, just outside the Village. The beach is only a short drive away.

Attractions: Ideal for such events as Glorious Goodwood, Goodwood Festival of Speed (this years dates are 30th June - 3rd July) and Revival (dates are 16-18 September) meetings, Fontwell racecourse, Arundel Castle, Petworth House, Parham House, Sussex Game Fair. For children days out at Fishers Farm, Butlins, The Flying Fortress, Marwell Zoo and Paultons Park are all excellent and only a short drive away.

Places of Interest: Denmans Gardens. Ideal area for visiting National Trust sites. Weald and Downland Museum. Porstmouth Dockyard and Museum.

The bungalow was all in excellent order and spotlessly clean.
Everything was provided in pristine condition. Comfortable beds,
excellent self catering facilities, and provision of, television ,dvd,s and cds. Very welcoming owners and helpful.
We look forward to holidaying again at this bungalow, and recommend it for a wonderful base to explore Sussex and Hampshire./

Tout nous a donné entière satisfaction lors de notre séjour à "Meadowbank" (à nous et nos deux enfants...).
L'accueil réservé fut des plus chaleureux. Nous avons eu une chance formidable d'avoir affaire à une propriétaire aussi agréable et dévouée. Le logement loué est fantastique : intérieur très soigné, très propre, très " cosy". Il correspond parfaitement au descriptif fait sur le site. Le fait de pouvoir profiter du jardin représente un plus non négligeable.
Walberton est un joli petit village, très bien situé par rapport à de nombreux sites touristiques de grand intérêt. La région est superbe, les activités possibles sont multiples !!! Nous avons hâte de louer à nouveau au même endroit.
Conclusion : une adresse à tout point de vue exceptionnelle !!!
