A fantastic 3 bedroom ground floor front line beach apartment, only a short stroll along the beach into the centre of La Cala.
From the large 80m2 terrace you can see the tennis court, 2 swimming pools, the garden, a playing ground area and the sea. This situation makes it very easy for family with children.
The terrace is equipped with a barbecue area, sun-beds and a large wooden table with 8 seats.
A nicely furnished living & dining room equipped with satellite TV & internet is widely open on the terrace and the view. 2 twin bed rooms with a separate bathroom and 1 double room en suite with large cupboards can sleep 6 persons. The kitchen is fully mounted with all the modern equipment. The apartment is fully air conditioned. An underground garage is available. We have an alarm system. All linen, towels and beach towels are provided. La Cala de Mijas is 20 km from Marbella and 25 km from the airport.
We also have nearby a fantastic large villa close to beach and golf, id 427670.
If you are looking for spacious, clean, well-equipped accommodation in the Costa del Sol with a pool and instant access to a beautiful beach - you will not find anywhere better!! I have just spent a week in this apartment with my teenage daughters and had such a great time. The apartment complex was secure, well maintained and quiet. The handover of keys was extremely smooth and the the apartment had been cleaned to a high standard.
The apartment had everything you could possibly want -even spare beach/ pool towels and was extremely comfortable. Its location was just perfect - the beach is a minute's walk from your terrace, there are several restaurants on the beach or a 5/10 minute walk from the apartment that were good value for money, served good food and staff were very friendly. There is a bakery around the corner from the apartment that could provide breakfast or any amount of bread, cakes, lovely treats to take away - it seemed to be open pretty much all day, every day. Would highly recommend it.
The pool was well maintained and sitting around the pool listening to the waves on the beach was our favourite position.
The apartment's owner, Wilrik, was extremely easy and friendly to deal with and accommodated our early arrival without any issues. This was the first time I didn't have a hire car but I found taxis were easy to find and reasonably priced. In fact we didn't need to go far because we had everything on our doorstep. We had been to this area before and so had already visited Puerto Banus, Marbella, Ronda etc but if you have a car this is a perfect location to reach all of these locations.
I can't recommend this apartment highly enough - my teenage daughters loved it too - I'm just sad I won't be able to get back to it any time soon.
We stayed in this apartment in July and had a very relaxing holiday. The apartment is well appointed, spacious and it was very clean and tidy on our arrival. As we were there in the height of summer the air conditioning in each room was a huge plus. Wifi was also a big hit with our teenagers. The location is perfect and as the apartment is on the ground floor it has easy access to the pool and the beach. The village of La Cala still has some traditional Spanish charm and has a wide variety of good restaurants to choose from. La Cala is a good starting point for exploring. We hired a car and visited Mijas, Puerto Banus, Marbella and Gibraltar and there are many other places of interest within easy reach. Wilrik, the owner, is very helpful and easy to deal with and the whole process of booking and getting the keys was well organised. We needed to contact him during our stay and he responded promptly. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday by the sea you won't be disappointed with this apartment.

We have been here for one week and the apartment and it's surroundings lived up to our expectations easily.
La Cala de Mijas is a smart village with lots of opportunities to eat out for a nice price.
The apartment itself is very comfortable with al your needs on the ground floor. Bedrooms are neat and tidy as well as the two bathrooms. The kitchen has got all it needs. Beside the apartment is a tennis (hard) court, in front a very nice swimmingpool, and, when you get through the gate you will find a small restaurant for your morning coffee or lunch, before you plunge in the mediterranian see.
I strongly reccommend the apartment because of all this.

The beach side of La Cala de Mijas with its genuine Spanish village is possibly the best holiday location between Malaga and Marbella.
The apartment is perfectly located being in a front-line beach housing community and within a few hundred meters walking distance to the village of La Cala with all its restaurants, shops and services. In addition there is a food store and a bakery within 100 meters of the apartment. Staying in this apartment you do not need a car but, especially in the heat of the summer months, the underground garage right underneath the apartment is “cool”.
Being located on the ground floor the apartment has a large terrace in which you can both bask in the sun and stay in the shade. The apartment has a sea view from the terrace. There is a good size pool between the apartment and the beach and you can step right onto the beach from the pool area. The apartment is well equipped and has three good size bedrooms, each for two. All this makes it definitely one of the best three bedroom apartments in the area for holiday purposes.

We have a very good memory about this beach apartment in La Cala Mijas. We had everything for a comfortable stay: quiet bedrooms, a good equipped kitchen, garage, large living room and a very spacious balcony. It is ground floor, and from the first site the balcony looks too open. Later on however we found it very relaxing to stay on the same level as ground play area attaching to the balcony. Our children had nice acquaintance with other children in the small apartment complex, even not speaking the same language, and safely moved any time to the swimming pool. It was nice to have afternoon sun on the balcony, relax on sun beds, and we always had breakfast and dinner outside. The apartment complex Arruzafa 1 inhabits quite delicate people and is not overcrowded, so nobody disturbed us. And we enjoyed the sea breeze, - the sea is just outside Arruzafa gate.
