Fabulous 4 bedroom apartment in the exclusive Bossa Beach complex on the beach

I’ve been meaning to write a review for this place for months. Finally got around to it and although I was tempted to keep the place a secret – since it’s so sweet – I don’t go back to Ibiza often enough to justify secrecy.

I was organizing a trip for seven 20-something single guys. We aren’t the trash-the-place budget holiday types. We wanted a place that was swanky and near the beach. Check and check. The apartment is tastefully decorated and big enough to comfortably sleep 7, each to his own bed. The walk to the beach is less than 30 seconds.

Everything was clean and in working order. Hot water in the showers with a lot of pressure. Several balconies. Fully stocked kitchen. And the property manager, Matt, was a great resource for tips on what to do and where to go in the area. At least once a day, one of my friends or I would feel compelled to say, “damn, this place is F’ing sweet. How did we luck out considering we knew nothing of Ibiza?”

What else? Location. It’s near the bars and clubs, for sure. The beach is not the best on the island but it is conveniently close for hung-over mornings. The local population center, Bossa Beach, is clustered around hotels and other large apartment complexes packed with young European tourists. Depending on what kind of nightlife you’re looking for this is either ideal or an anthropological curiosity. When in Rome, right gentlemen? There’s the infamous Bora Bora beach bar, which is worth one of your early evenings but skip it for sundown because of the high fences blocking the view of the beach. That’s a tangent. If you want other options, downtown Ibiza City is a short cab ride away. The ad for this property says there’s a ferry shuttle between Bossa Beach, but we never got around to taking it.

I could praise this place for another few paragraphs. Simply put, I would go back here without a second thought any time I return to Ibiza.
