Five bedroom detached traditional stone cottage set in 1 acre garden

The cottage has been recently modernized and benefits from lovely views of the Caingorm mountains and Inch Marches. There is a shower room on the ground floor and one bedroom. There are four bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. There is a living room with sky tv and broadband. The is a kitchen, dining room and sun room. There are two wood burning stoves in the premises. There is an expanse of ground around the property as well as ample parking for cars. Our photos show the lanes around the property where one can walk for miles into the countryside. There is a burn nearby and our children paddle and play in it regularly. They also cycle from the property on the quiet lanes and up into the hills. It is a peaceful spot where there is freedom to enjoy the abundance of nature and wildlife nearby.

Lynchat is a lovely hamlet one mile north of kingussie in the Cairngorm national park. It is near pubs and the lovely Cross restaurant. There is great skiing in winter and lots of golf, fishing, places to cycle and walk. You can learn water sports at loch insh and go to the highland wildlife centre. It is great for couples, families, groups of friends.

Other Activities: shopping, theatre.

Golf: Kingussie, Boatof Garten, Newtonmore and Grantown on Spey easily accessible from the property.

Ski: Cairngorms at Aviemore.

Lovely house, great location

We had a fantastic week at the Larches. The house was clean, spacious, with a huge garden the kids all loved. We visited with 2 families and everyone was very happy with the bedrooms and all facilities. The only thing missing was chairs to sit on outside as the weather was so good!

Came as a family of 8 ( all ages) had a great time. Cottage is fab and handy for all family outings,even the dogs had a great time. Would come back for a lovely holiday every year!!!
