3 Bedroom barn conversion in idyllic rural setting

The barn, a former farm building, has been rebuilt and recently converted into an attractive, comfortable holiday home and offers a well-equipped kitchen dining room with oak beams and a stone wall, a comfortable sitting room, bedroom (with large double bed) and shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs there are two attic bedrooms: one double and one twin, and a further shower room. The property forms one side of a range of agricultural buildings in what was the old farmyard. This yard is now an attractive courtyard garden, with lawn area and table and chairs for al fresco dining. The courtyard is adjacent to the owners’ listed home. Many miles of open country and woodland of The Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surround the property. The area is ideal for walking riding and biking and although quiet and rural enjoys easy access to Westcott village, and the historic market town of Dorking. With easy access by train to London, and good road access to the South of England and coast, the property is ideal as a base visiting this part of England.

Beautiful location, fantastic accommodation!

Our family came to stay for a week's holiday at the end of May, and was absolutely delighted to find the holiday barn rental to be situated in a stunning location, and its a perfect location for days out from London to the south coast. The barn was fantastic with its accommodation being well-equipped, clean and modern. Chris and Nicky were very welcoming, helpful and kind, and I thank them for that as it made our holiday a little more special, especially for the kids. We would definitely come and stay again. Thanks again.

Warm Welcome, Wonderful Stay in Charming Cottage!

We were delighted to return to this peaceful, comfortable and very private retreat each evening, after fun-filled days exploring hidden gems in beautiful Surrey. Minutes to Dorking, Box Hill and many lovely country pubs hidden in the lush forests. Nicky and Chris are gracious hosts who made our family of 5 feel instantly welcome. The cottage was very bright, clean and well equipped, without the slightest detail lacking. We would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you for a wonderful time, and all your kindness!

A fabulous place to stay. Baby equipment provided was good quality and new. Great beds, linen and equipment throughout. We stayed for my brother's wedding at Denbie's Vineyard and the barn was perfectly located for this. The accommodation rounded off a perfect stay as it was so lovely. Nicola and Chris were very friendly too. Lovely bottle of wine and flowers on arrival. Thank you so much.

Situated in the Surrey Hills - Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on a quiet rural lane about a mile from the village of Westcott, and only 3 miles from Dorking, the barn is ideally located for walking, cycling, riding and mountain biking. With direct access to the Surrey Hills’ extensive network of footpaths and bridleways just go from the door and leave the car behind.

Westcott has a baker’s, post office/village store, newsagents two pubs and an Indian restaurant. There is also a specialist bike shop with mountain bikes for hire. Dorking is a historic market town with a wide range of shops and restaurants, and has a railway station with a frequent service to London. There are several National Trust properties in the area, including Leith Hill Tower, the highest point in Southern England.
