This stunning ground floor apartment is located on the prestigious Cabanas Beach development in the heart of Cabanas De Tavira on the Algarve in Portugal. It is a 2 bed and 2 bath property and has a leather sofa bed in the lounge to sleep up to 4/6 guests.

We do holiday rentals, long lets, golf packages and last minute deals, ask for more information. This is one of many similar properties we have available to let, they are generally designed the same, but may vary with furnishings.

The property is furnished to the highest standard with all modern equipment such as dishwasher, microwave and washing machine.

You can walk right from the terrace to the pool so is excellent for children and for anyone with mobility problems.

The apartment has air conditioning and heating for your utmost comfort.

The development has 2 wonderful pools and gardens and is close to shops, banks, bars restaurants and Cabanas beach is just 2 minutes away. The nearest supermarket is just 400 yards away.

Located close enough by car to several other beaches, water parks, golf courses and everything you would need for an excellent holiday. You are 20 minutes from the border of Spain so can explore the delights of that Country also.

This property is in an excellent location. All amenities are within walking distance. There are buses and trains from Conceicao, so no need for a car.

Tavira is known by the Portuguese as the prettiest town in Portugal and it certainly lives up to its name.

Cabanas de Tavira is full of the best restaurants and you will be spoilt for choice. The people are so friendly you will want to come back year on year. With just a 2 minute walk to the shops, bars, cafes and beach, the nearest airport to Cabanas is Faro and it is approximately a 25 minute drive; taxis and car hire are available from the airport and a local rail service a 10 minute walk from the apartment. The apartment is ideally placed for your holiday location, with no aircraft fly-overs.

Car hire is not essential if you just want a relaxing holiday, but recommended if you wish to explore the Algarve more fully or venture into Spain and other parts of Portugal.

Haven Ops poor quality accommodation

Initial feeling on arrival was relatively positive (despite the blood spatter on the communal stairs) however after a day we realised that the apartment (ours was on the first floor) was not as good as originally thought. The fridge was filthy inside (and at the bottom), all cutlery and plates needed cleaning prior to use, there were ants in the bathroom, the tv had a satellite box but it wasn't connected so we couldn't watch it and the quality of the picture on the channels we had was terrible, there were appliances with UK plugs which we could not use as we did not have enough adaptors, nine light bulbs were out and there was bird excrement outside the balcony window beneath an apparently protected swallows nest and whilst the nest cannot be touched surely the bird excrement should have been cleaned up - there was a lot and it attracted flies! We left after 2 days deciding that to have to have cleaners and repair men in during our holiday was not acceptable and neither was us having to clean the place and replace missing bulbs/adaptors! At first we were criticised for not complaining sooner and then once we produced photos we were ignored. We have photos of what we deemed to be a dirty, unhygienic apartment with a green looking pool outside which looked like it needed a good clean. Very disappointed with the apartment, Haven Ops attitude and view that we should have cleaned it ourselves!

Owner's Response: I am amazed by this review as i personally showed the guests into the property myself, as we do on all check-ins, then demonstrated the services available.
At no point during my demo did the guests or their children state they were not satisfied, indeed they were happy jumping about their holiday property.
Swallows are protected in Portugal and make their nests where ever they decide, nobody is allowed to disturb these nests as there are a protected bird. We do a clean up when we do our exit cleans, however, the birds will mess on a daily basis!! Once the nesting season is over, then we can remove the nests.

The guests attended our office to hand the keys in, i offered to go and visit the property with them in order they could show me what they were unhappy with, however, they declined this opportunity and wanted to drive over to Spain to meet up with family and friends.

Regards the pool, we contacted the company that runs the condominium and reported the colour issue, this was corrected the very next day with a chemical treatment, the feedback from the pool company was that guests do not wash off their oils and creams and so affect the pool, there is a shower next to the pool for this use, however, we cannot Police this.

All in all this is a trendy apartment that has many re-bookings each year with the same guests.

COMPLEX GREAT BUT AVOID RENTING THROUGH HAVEN OPS!

We paid and booked a ground floor apartment for two weeks as we had three kids in our party two who are under five years old, Upon arrival we shown to a penthouse apartment with a roof terrace the apartment was very nice but unsuitable for younger kids.
I advised the Lady from Haven this is not what we had booked and paid for and was unsuitable due to the younger kids we had, We arrived late at night she advised we spent the night there and tried to resolve the situation in the morning.The roof terrace was pretty open and had a sheer drop from the top of the building. After three days of constant Phone calls to Haven we managed to get a move to a ground floor apartment poolside which was fantastic but we could only stay a week as the owners where due over and had to move back to the penthouse for our final three days which was not what we really wanted unpacking and packing again. Haven never apologised once and their customer service was none existant they just said the penthouse was an upgrade and if anything they had done us a favor. I would stay again but would choose to book through a owner or another agent.

Cabanas de Tavira is a quaint former fishing village around 7km from the Roman town of Tavira. The village is composed of low rise structures with an abundance of shops bars and restaurants. These all have stunning views of the Ria Fermosa National park with its beautiful Caribbean type beaches. You reach the beach by taking a pleasant short trip in one of the many water taxis that ferry holidaymakers over to the Island. You can also access the beach at Praia do Barrill on a little train.

Almost all of the many championship golf courses on the Algarve are easily accessible from Cabanas so this makes it a excellent destination for golf holidays. The owner has several units on the complex so can cater for large Golf Excursions.
