Hi I'm Cliff Palermo. My family and I love providing great places for travelers to call home, while away from home since 2011.
Cliff Palermo purchased this apartment in 2012
This property is all about space and location. This apartment is HUGE! Being a block from the convention center makes it great for attending conventions. You can jump on the cirulator bus and catch it right to the mall for sightseeing as well.
Must eat @ El Rinconcito Cafe right next door! First Cup coffee 2 block around the corner on M St. Convenience store, liquor store and grocery all within a block.
My family (two young children, myself, my husband, and my parents) stayed here for a February wedding. We were able to check in early, which was quite helpful, and when we accidentally stayed past the 10am checkout the owners didn't hassle us, even though the cleaning crew showed up to turn over the apartment. Plenty of space and privacy, and the owner even emailed me a couple of days into the stay to see if we had everything we needed. The only (very minor) issue was that there was no shampoo/conditioner/bath soap, so we had to go purchase those items for our stay, but we had to go to the market anyway for groceries so it was not a problem. We even had plenty of space for the groom to stay with us the night before the wedding! Good, central location, too. The decor does leave something to be desired, but at least it didn't have a million breakable knickknacks placed on low shelves.
We, group of 7 doctors, attending AAFP meeting, liked this apartment. Clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay. 5 minutes walk from the Convention Center.
This property was more than we expected. Only two blocks from the convention center and more than enough room for lodging. Enjoyed are three night stay and had all the comforts of home. Very close also to both food and entertainment. Will stay here again if available for sure!
Me and my 5 firends stayed at this place for a week - it is in a very good location, walking distance from main attraction sites. Inside it is very cozy and comfortable. Recommend to any larger group.
We rented the apartment for six nights (August 12-18) and it was a great choice. Location is good (convenient for walking, to metro and buses, to grocery and drug store). The kitchen has all the cooking necessities needed which worked out well for us for making meals. The contact person, Cliff, was professional and helpful throughout. The apartment looks just as it appears on the website, with eclectic furniture (mix of vintage and IKEA) and lots of open space. Much better for us than staying in a hotel. I would stay here again on any future trips to DC.
This apartment was as advertised. There were 6 of us (2 teens, grandparents, parents) who stayed. We had more than enough space and felt completely comfortable. The location was perfect for getting around to all of the sites. The little store 2 blocks over had everything we needed. Very clean. Owners responded to onsite questions immediately. Would stay again.
