A luxurious apartment, excellent holiday

  • 5 out of 5
An absolutely lovely apartment, just like the photographs. No detail in the flat has been overlooked and it provides a great home from home, just nicer. It's ideally placed for Bath city centre, we walked in to the city in around 30 minutes, and the bus and taxi into Bath were easy and cheap. Ideal for a relaxing holiday, but good nightlife was never too far away. I'd recommend this to anyone, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definately come again.

one of the best weekends away

  • 5 out of 5
Just got back from here and didnt want to leave. It was the perfect place and had everything we needed. Andrew and Karen were very friendly and helpful before and while we were there. Its in a good place for location as there was shops nearby and a supermarket 10 minutes down the road. Bath is a beautiful place and will be staying here again.

Holidays can hardly get better

  • 5 out of 5
This is one of the most attractive holiday apartments we ever stayed in. The inviting photos are not misleading at all. The apartment is beautifully laid out and most tastefully furnished. We enjoyed every second we spent there. The location is terrific for walks to Bath as well as a starting point for short trips to lots of fascinating places.
Thank you so much, Karen and Andrew, for the terrific time we had in your place.

VERY NICE, GREAT LOCATION.

  • 5 out of 5
Accommodations were excellent and very clean. Public transportation was just steps away and we used that even though we had a car. Restaurants are close by too, within walking distance. We spent five days and were able to do all the sightseeing we wanted. Thanks to Andrew and Karen for their hospitality and all the information needed to enjoy our time during our visit.

Stunning apartment in picturesque location

  • 5 out of 5
We arrived in Bath and walked to the apartment (took about 30 minutes), it's a straight road through to Batheaston, we only had backpacks so it was easy for us.

The apartment is just fabulous, it has everything that you need and they have created an incredibly welcoming space to enjoy your time in Bath. I love to cook and if I could have packed up their kitchen and taken it with me, I would have. Hubby literally had to drag me out of the apartment on our last day!

If you come out the apartment and turn right at the road, this will take you to the general store, village pub, chemist and chip shop and if you turn left and head back into Bath there is a Co-Op supermarket about 15 minutes walk, you have to turn off the main London road at Lambridge Street straight up to the crossroad with the chemist on the right hand side, turn right here and it's 30 seconds up that road. There is also a great Indian takeaway just down from here, Chillies, (takeaway menu is in the info pack in the apartment).

From the apartment it's a 15-20 minute walk to the top of Solsbury Hill, we went up late afternoon and the views were just beautiful.

I can't recommend this apartment enough, spotlessly clean, everything you need for a relaxing stay and ideally located for everything. Remember to pop down to Bathampton Mill for a drink in the beer garden, you can also jump on a river boat here that takes you straight into Bath.

The small historic city of Bath nestles, like a gem, in a network of valleys on the River Avon, where you're never more than a mile or two from lush countryside. The west country region has the most gorgeous and evocative English Countryside, there are many beautiful villages, towns and stately homes to explore, not to mention ancient history of Stonehenge and Avebury dating back.

The Roman Baths and New Thermae Spa give World Heritage Bath more than just a visual feast of world class architecture such as Bath Abbey, The Royal Crescent and Pump Rooms. A diverse city, Bath boasts great shopping, pubs, clubs and restaurants, you could easily lose several days exploring its many facets from Bohemia to high society.

Batheaston village is just 2 miles from Bath running alongside the river Avon. There are lovely walks along the Kennet and Avon canal, which will take you directly into Bath or you could take the river taxi into town from The Bathampton Mill gastro pub just up the road.

Other Activities: Chilling out in Bath Therma Spa

Golf: There are several excellent golf courses within 15 - 20 minutes drive.
