This luxurious apartment is superbly presented and is located in the most prestigious area of the Costa del Sol - The Golf Valley. Golfing activities: There are numerous golf courses in the area but the La Quinta courses are directly on your doorstep. There is a golf school at the entrance to the Lomas de la Quinta apartments with driving range and a snack bar. You can walk to this facility within seconds. The La Quinta club house has a marvelous cafe and restaurant, gym, spa, pool and padel tennis. The club house has excellent creche and children's activities facility for the parents who would like a little 'me' time. Next to the club house is the fabulous Melia Spain Hotel with its many facilities and restaurants.

  • Bedroom 1 is the master suite situated on the top floor of this duplex penthouse. It has dual aspect sliding doors leading to large terraces front and back - both with fabulous views! The rear terrace catches the late afternoon/evening sun and overlooks the gold course and mountains. The front terrace looks south towards the sea and also overlooks the golf course and mountains. This is a luxury suite with vaulted wooden ceiling, dressing area and master en-suite bathroom. It is totally private from the rest of the apartment. Bedroom 2 is a luxury double with built-in wardrobes, en suite bathroom and sliding doors that lead out on to the south facing terrace. Bedroom 3 is a twin bedded room with small Juliet balcony and built-in wardrobes. It has a guest shower room.

Notes: This apartment is very well equipped. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a reverse hot air cycle for winter lets. The kitchen has all the normal appliances including dishwasher. The laundry room includes a separate washing machine and dryer and a wine cooler. There is broadband fast internet connection, t.v in living room and master suite, cd/radio/mp3 player/IPod Docking Station and DVD. On the terrace upstairs there is a Charcoal BBQ, a jacuzzi (available as a optional extra at 150 euros per week) and a hot & cold shower. There is a large outside table and 6 chairs for al fresco dining. Also, for comfort and shade, there are 4 loungers and a large sun umbrella. A drinks cooler/fridge and a sink complete the picture for outside living. The large swimming pool has a waterfall feature and sits in sub tropical gardens.

The apartment is set in beautiful surroundings and although we didn’t have a car which is recommended, we were able to order taxis from the Melia Hotel to Puerto Banus and the beach (11-14 Euros). There is also the Country Club at the bottom of the road, which served drinks and snacks at very reasonable prices.

The apartment was everything described and more. It was very well equipped and had all we needed to cook, clean and was very modern. This property would be perfect, for someone looking for a relaxing holiday, but is close enough to all the action. I would recommend paying the extra for the hot tub, to help keep you cool in the summer months and allows you to make full use of the terrace during the day.

I would also like to thank Helen for making everything so easy and for answering my 101 questions and would definitely consider visiting this apartment again.

This is an excellent apartment with every need catered for. The fixtures and fittings are of the highest standard and this truly is a luxury penthouse. The rooftop terrace is wonderful for al fresco dining or simply relaxing in the jacuzzi or on the luxury sunbeds. The views from the terrace over the golf course and down to the coast and beyond are beautiful. The area is very peaceful and despite being there peak season it was very quiet and relaxing. The pool was never busy and we often had it to ourselves. The golf course is high quality and the apartment is very well placed for the practice facilities and cafe - great for an ice cream or coffee. Overall I could not fault the apartment and this is a great location - close enough to the nightlife yet far enough away for complete peace and quiet. Finally the property agent is very helpful he will do everything that he can to ensure your holiday is as you wish it. Would love to return.
