The flat is in a typical red brick Edwardian block situated on a quiet, leafy street. It is secure and clean with a resident caretaker. It is a large one bedroom flat with a small, but well appointed kitchen.

The flat comprises a large double bedroom, a large sitting room with steps up into the galley style kitchen. It is possible to cook and eat here or at one of the many restaurants in the area. There is plenty of storage space, and a double sofa bed (120cm wide) in the sitting room to accommodate additional visitors. Flat is 546 sq feet or 50.72 sq meters approx. in area.

This is an excellent base for accessing all the major sites of London. Bloomsbury is a vibrant, lively area, with beautiful squares. The flat is within a few minutes walk of all the major tube lines and excellent shopping facilities are on your doorstep.

There is TV, DVD and broadband wi-fi at the flat.

Central London means in the centre of London: There are many properties which are advertised as Central London when in fact they are many miles and a train or tube journey away from the centre. This flat is in the centre of Travel Zone 1 and it is within walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions and shopping areas. You should ask how long it takes to WALK to Oxford Street and Covent Garden and then decide for yourself if a property is in Central London.

We will return again and again!

This was our second week-long stay here, and we will keep returning! The location can't be beat; the flat is clean, safe, and comfortable; and Eugene is the perfect host! We love Bloomsbury, and this flat is a 5-minute walk to two stations that can take you anywhere easily. Note: the Eurostar to Paris leaves from St. Pancras (a 5-minute walk from the flat) as do many regional trains. There are two grocery stores, laundromat, and several stores, pubs & restaurants also within a 5-minute walk max. The area is perfectly safe for walking, night & day. We now consider this to be "our" home base in London and will never stay anywhere else.

The Perfect location

My husband and I stayed here for almost two weeks this past November (2014). It’s a very nice flat, everything as advertised, the location can’t be beat, and Eugene is an informative and helpful host. We arrived on the Eurostar and walked from St. Pancras to the flat. Eugene met us there as arranged, showed us around, and answered all our questions. Eugene is very well-traveled himself, understands the concerns of his guests and anticipates their needs. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Central London, we can recommend this flat whole-heartedly.

We chose to pay with a wire transfer through our local bank. We’d never done this before and were a bit anxious about it. Eugene provided the exact and specific information necessary for the transaction. The deposit went through perfectly, but our bank made an error on the second payment and there was a delay while they initiated a trace. (A word to the wise -- double check your bank paperwork to ensure its correctness!) Eugene was supportive throughout, checked everything on his end, and was a calming influence, which we greatly appreciated.

There’s so much to see and do in London. Eugene’s flat gives you a sense of actually living in the city, in a residential area, while still being within walking distance of many tourist must-sees. The British Museum, for example, is about a five-minute walk away. And if you’re okay with public transportation, as most Londoners are, this is a dream of a place.

GREAT LOCATION AND BETTER APPARTMENT

We are a 4-members family and it was just perfect for us: the location is very good (5 mins walking from St Pancras Station), very calm, the kitchen has everything you need and the appartment was very clean. Last but not least, the wi-fi connection was excellent. So it's very advisable for a family that visits London.

The owner, Eugene, is very kind and answered all the questions we had.

Just one thing: there are some ants in the kitchen and you have to be carefully about the food you store.

Great Flat By St. Pancras Tube/Eurostar

Very clean and fantastic location near Russell Square Tube and St Pancras Tube and Eurostar station. Very comfortable walking in area at 11pm when returning from nearby local pubs. Two grocers very close. North Sea Fish is at end of street and has the best fish and chips we had in London. Excellent Wi-Fi connection!

Perfecta ubicación y perfecto anfitrión.

Ya había visitado Londres muchas veces, pero nunca tan a gusto como ahora. Tuve la suerte de pasar las Navidades en el apartamento de Eugene con mi hija y unas amigas… mucho mejor que en un hotel (y más barato, claro).

La ubicación es perfecta: está en el centro, junto al British Museum, en un barrio muy tranquilo y puedes ir andando a Picadilly, Covent Garden, Oxford Street, Trafalgar Square… todo a un paso!!

El apartamento es ideal para 3 ó 4 personas y cuenta con todo lo necesario, desde frigorífico hasta lavadora. La calefacción es estupenda (importante si viajas en diciembre)

En resumen, totalmente recomendable. Volveré a Londres y me quedaré de nuevo en Bloomsbury.

Bloomsbury flat

Comfortable, very clean and well maintained, in an excellent location- just walking around Bloomsbury was a real pleasure and much of interest in central London is within easy walking distance. Good local shops and tube and buses are only minutes away. Eugene was very helpful and provided excellent notes about the local area and about interesting places to visit in London.

The flat is close to all major transport links, including Eurostar and tube links to Heathrow. The flat is close to the British Museum and British Library, and just a twenty minute's walk from Oxford Street and the theaters and attractions of the West End. There are excellent shopping facilities at the nearby Brunswick Centre, and Covent Garden is just 10 minutes walk away. For children there is the Coram's Field centre just a five minute walk away with playgrounds, paddlling pools and farm animals. Regents Park is just a twenty minute walk away.

Further afield - Camden Market, Hyde Park, Parliament and Buckingham Palace, are all accessible within a 10 minute tube ride.

Other Activities: theatre, shopping, site seeing. museums and galleries
