Situated within tripping distance of the Cornish coast and Atlantic waves, Croft House is the perfect base for those looking for a stunning house with all modern amenities and yet so close to the breathtaking Widemouth Bay, one of North Cornwall's premier bathing and surfing beaches. A fantastic holiday home that sleeps ten. There are four en-suite bedrooms and an outdoor hot shower to wash away the sand and salty sea after a day riding the Cornish surf; or perhaps you have spent the day lounging on the sand reading that book you have promised yourself you will read when you have time. This self catering holiday home also has a small garden and patio area for BBQs, a lovely first floor kitchen and sitting room with balcony, which means you can enjoy the wonderful sea views and spectacular Cornish sunsets from the comfort of your own home. Hi Nick, thank you very much for aranging our short stay at Croft house. What an amazing place this is, as soon as we walked in it had the wow !!! factor and everyone was delighted.We were lucky with the weather but it would not have mattered if it had rained, we were all quite happy to sit and look through the window at the wonderful sea views. This is a house for friends and family alike, the kitchen is fantastic and we were all happy to share the cooking! The house was very clean and I loved the white bed linnen. We took our dog Sebastian a very friendly dog... in a very dog friendly house. Again.. we would like to say a very big thank you, to you and the owners. Adrianna and Daria are already packing for the next break... so you haven't heard the last of us! Jane

Fantastic accommodation in a stunning location. Stayed for a week with 2 16yr old boys who surfed everyday despite the weather.
Fully equipped house which due to its open plan design never felt too big for us despite there being only 4 of us in it.
The complimentary basket was a lovely treat which we thoroughly enjoyed and also the little extras i.e toiletries in the bathrooms.
Nick was a great guy who sorted out the accommodation and was there is we needed him.
Would recommend this beautiful house along with the surf hire at the tea rooms (brilliant rate per week) and the lovely fish and chips at the Beech Diner (up the road).
Would I return - absolutely no question about it.
Owner's Response: A really friendly family who were a delight to have staying with us. I look forward to welcoming them again soon!

Croft House is a superb and luxurious home in which to relax and unwind and to enjoy all that widemouth bay has to offer. The situation is just excellent being just over the road from the beach but also just a few yards from all the other amenities, including the local shop, which has a great fishmongers, the surf rental shops and the pub and restaurants.

Croft House itself has everything one could possibly want for a holiday stay, a well fitted and equipped kitchen, great bedrooms with one room containing four big bunk beds which the kids and their friends thought was the best thing. Wireless internet and flat screen TV and a back garden where one could sit and enjoy an evening meal. I spent a lot of time on the living room balcony taking in the view of the beach and reading as the sun went down - great stuff!

Elite west holidays also provided a service that ensured the week away was a success - I can thoroughly recommend them and Croft House.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Had a short break at half term. Fantastic house; great position overlooking the sea. Really clean and very well maintained. Family all enjoyed being able to nip to the beach (and yes we did go in!) and then come back to a good warm shower (four showers in the house so really good) and plenty of hot water. Loved the views from the sitting room and balcony and found the house really comfortable and warm (great woodburning stove). We would highly recommend this as a terrific house to stay in and intend to return in the summer and really enjoy the surfing. A very good pub nearby and two good restaurants made eating out a joy. Nick was really helpful with both the booking and information he gave us about the area - highly recommended.

OUR WONDERFUL 2010 FAMILY XMAS BREAK !

We are a family of 5 (2 ad,boy 15,girl 13,boy 11 + dog) & family of 4 (2 ad, 2 boys 15 & 13 + dog) who wanted somewhere to spend a xmas break together & we got just what we ordered when we picked Croft House in Widemouth Bay, Bude! As I had booked this break for
both families on what i had seen on the Internet, as we got nearer to the house i started to panic in case the pics that we had seen of the
house were old or different or something like that -so when we arrived & we went into the house & saw just what we were staying in for the
next few days, well quite frankly we were all very PLEASED, WOWED, HAPPY, DELIGHTED, AMAZED, ETC -We had a fab time &
i would like to say that the house was exceptionally clean & warm & well cared for & to be honest we really didn't want to come home!! We had a great meal at The Bay View Inn, which was in walking distance, on Boxing Day, recommended in a book at the property, which was very helpful thanks. Views of the sea from the house were great too, it is literally 2 mins from the beach. There was also a very nice 'welcome basket' of goodies waiting for us, which was appreciated, all in all we had a very happy & wonderful Christmas break at Croft House & I would recommend it to any of my friends, but not for Christmas ..........only because I would want to keep that for us!!!! We would love to go back again.
