Ampelokipi is one of the more fortunate areas of Athens in terms of public transport. The nearest metro station is 7 minutes away and bus stations are only a step away while the search for a taxi is a piece of cake and the use of it is very economically since most of the destinations are only 5 to 10 minutes away. Moreover there are a lot of traditional (taverns) with live Greek music and international (Friday’s, Applebee’s) restaurants, bars, cinemas and theatres, Super Markets and even a street market where you can buy fresh products at very reasonable prices.
