Hesperides Gardens #5 (70295 on our website with live availability www.Cyprus7.co.uk) is superbly situated in a very popular and hugely sought after location in the heart of Kato Pafos, Hesperides Gardens is a Mediterranean haven. Taking its name from the area once renowned for citrus orchards, this Mediterranean home enjoys not one, but two large pools. The paved poolside patio areas with sun beds and sun umbrellas are ideal for relaxation. The beautifully landscaped grounds adjoin a public park, lined with a row of tall mature poplars that invite you to take a stroll in-between refreshing dips in the pool. The properties benefit from a large south facing veranda, ideal for dining al fresco with your friends and family, and a south facing balcony looking towards the pool. If you are hiring a car there is an allocated parking space 20 yards away, so don’t worry about carrying your luggage too far from the car. This property commands an enviable position within the complex only a stones throw from the pool.

How to get there: It is easy to get to. Several budget airlines now fly direct to Paphos or Larnaca from London and other Major Cities. Ask us how to get a cheap flight when booking. The house is only 15 minutes from Pafos Airport or 75 minutes from Larnaca Airport.and it is very easy to arrange a transfer. You will find taxi's are always available at the Airport and we can also suggest a car hire company if you prefer.

Amazing Property in a great location

My friend and I found that the Townhouse located in Kato Paphos, was an excellent location for a nice relaxing holiday. The spacious townhouse had everything we could have wanted from cooking/washing appliances to en-suite bathrooms. With the large and beautifully kept communal swimming pool less than 15 yards from the ground floor patio, it’s ideal for young families as the only people using the facility are either residents of the immediate area (surrounding the pool) or people enjoying their holiday homes with friends and relatives, of whom we found to be extremely nice and welcoming without being intrusive! The local amenities are less than 1km away with superb range of foods, toiletries, beers and wines, also local restaurants have take away facilities which were also of a high standard, where you can get anything from Indian to Italian. Also the main area for restaurants and lively bars is a fair 20 minutes walk (5 minute taxi) which is pleasant in the evening, when the sun is no longer at full strength.

We had a really nice time in what was an outstandingly well kept spacious townhouse, the weather, swimming pool, bars and restaurants, all contributed to being a great holiday.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind review. This property has everything you would expect in a second home. We stay there ourselves regularly so we understand exactly what is needed. Having a young family we find that the location is perfect. Close enough to the shops and restaurants but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. The property is best suited to families and couples. It is not suitable for young groups, in fact we do not take bookings from all male/female groups as the complex is very much a family resort. Future guests please don't hesitate to call if you have any questions.

We were very impressed with this accommodation. Everything was to a very high standard and spotlessly clean. Very family-friendly (we have 2 young children). Great location. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect summer getaway

First holiday of the year was spent in this beautiful house. Spotlessly clean and everything you need away from home.

The bedrooms were plenty big enough for adults and lots of wardrobe space.

The patio area was perfect to sit for breakfast without feeling overlooked, and a few steps away was the beautiful pool and sun terrace.

Location was great ... it was easy to walk into the town and explore the restaurants and bars of Paphos.

A delightful getaway on a beautiful Island.

Our Christmas 2009 holiday in Paphos was fabulous

We weren't too sure about Paphos as a destination for Christmas but we were pleasantly surprised. We couldn't believe how warm it was 23 degrees, sunny 90% of the time and bright blue skies ! I think it was snowing in the UK. Anyway we had a great holiday enjoyed every minute of it. Pool was a bit fresh at that time of year, but in summer we imagine it would be fabulous. The house is very well fitted and it has everything you would expect from a holiday home. The location is great if you want to visit the shops and restaurants all within 15 minutes walking. We drove to the harbour most days but you could walk it in 30 minutes. The complex gardens are really pleasant which was what attracted to this property. We could not fault the house and will book again in 2010. It is perfect for families.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind comments. For all future guests we rent this property all year round as Cyprus boasts 340 days of sunshine per year. The flights in winter are extremely cheap. So when it is raining at home why not pop out to Paphos for a winter break.

Great location right next to the pool !

Our whole family visited in October 2009 and found the accommodation to be spacious and modern. The bedrooms were larger than expected and the house had three bathrooms and a separate WC. So even with 6 of us there was no need for queuing in the evenings when we were getting ready to go out. The kitchen was well equipped, it has everything like you would expect at home. The pool is really close to the terrace, and it is massive, it was great to be able to walk in and out of the house for refreshments all day. The grounds are very green and lush which wasn't expected in such a dry country. We ate in only once because there are so many reasonably priced restaurants only a 10 minute walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and we are visiting again in 2010. Highly recommended !!!

Ski: Cyprus is a wonderful island of contrasts. Where else could you ski in the morning and then be sunning yourself by the pool or on the beach in the afternoon? The snows on Mount Olympus are a fabulous way of spending a winter morning in the Ski Cyprus arena. By car it is about 90 minutes from Paphos. Hundreds of Cypriots and perhaps as many holiday makers enjoy the wonderful sport of skiing every winter on the beautiful slopes of Mt Olympus. Skiing, with its 60 year plus history on this island, is here not only to stay, but to continue its growth. The ski lifts operate from 09.00 to 16.00h all week during the winter season. Season runs from December to March.

Notes:
The complex has two pools. We have a fabulous view from the terrace, first floor balcony and roof top sun terrace of the main pool that is 25m x 15m. The pool has changing rooms and showers. So if you have a flight late in the day you are welcome to stay by the pool and freshen up before you depart.
