2 Bedroom Cottage with Sea Views and 5 Minutes walk to Town Centre

This fisherman's cottage is possibly in THE PERFECT location in Poole. Situated within a stones throw (literally) from the Sea, and right next to the Fisherman's Dock, with direct access to the sea side foot walk onto the Poole Quayside and Town Centre. There is an abundance of activities that you can book to include Fishing Trips, Dive Boats, Sailing Boats, Parascending and more, as well as fantastic array of bars and restaurants that cater for all ages and tastes. The two bedrooms both have stunning sea views, with the master bedroom looking out over the harbour and across to Brownsea Island. There is a comfy lounge area with all expected facilities and a dining area that leads out onto the 'sun trap' patio and garden that backs onto the harbour and is absolutely perfect for BBQ, playing with your children or just relaxing in the sunshine. This fantastic property is child friendly and has off street parking for 2 cars / boats.

great location and great cottage

This will be our 3rd year in arow we have stayed in this cottage and really can't recommend it highly enough. Location couldn't be any better. Short coastal path walk to Poole harbour, sandbanks just up the road and can see Brownsea Island from the garden. Very clean and well kept holiday cottage. We hope to spend many more years visiting.

what a great location for a holiday home. we had a great time with plenty to do and places to visit in the area. the cottage was spacious and comfortable with a great view from the windows, with the sea a couple of yards from the the cottage. altogether a fantasic time had by all. thanks waterside cottage for a wonderful holiday. john,emma and dean.

Having stayed at Waterside Cottage for the last 7years we can definitely recommend it as the perfect location for a relaxing holiday.Its like going from home to home and the owner has gone the extra mile to make sure all our needs are catered for.The location is fabulous.You could not wish for anything better.You walk out of your front door and within yards you are standing on the seafront.Five minutes walk and you are in Poole town centre and Baiter Park stretches right round the bay to the left.In the back garden you can sit under the sunshade and watch the boats float by.The cottage has everthing you could possible need for a perfect holiday. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Great place to stay

Having spent a wonderful 7 nights at this property over the New year period we can definetly recommend it. Waterside cottage is very comfortable, clean and thoughtfully decorated. Everything that you could possible need is provided by the owner. Who was very helpful & very friendly. The views of the harbour are amazing .The Quay side is a short stroll away with loads of places to eat & drink, we were impressed with locals who were very friendly especially at the Jolly Sailor.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary on New Years Eve at Storm restaurant which is in the high street It had been highly recommended by the cottage owner.We enjoyed a memorable meal The lemon sole was fantastic.

We look forward to a repeated trip next New Years.

Location, Location, Location.

What a lovely holiday we had, the house is perfectly situated with wonderful views of Poole harbour. It was a real pleasure waking up each morning and watching the boats sail by.

Hardly used the car, could walk along the quay side into town, loads of places to eat & drink, and great shopping.

House was clean and tidy, comfortable beds, comfortable lounge, sunny breakfast room, well equipped kitchen, lovely garden, quality bed linen and towels. Good size bath.

Owner was a pleasure to deal with, thinking about booking for another holiday already.

Would recommend this house to anybody.

Poole is a vibrant, bustling town with stunning views from the Quayside across Poole Harbour, the worlds second largest natural harbour. You can take a stroll down the quayside where many activities can be booked to include Fishing, Diving, Sailing, Kitesurfing and Windsurfing amongst others. There are also numerous boat trips that can be taken in various directions, up to Wareham, across to Brownsea Island, or to the beautiful Sandbanks and Studland Bay beaches.

There are some fantastic walks to be had along the Dorset Jurassic Coast which is steeped in wildlife for all nature lovers. On that note the harbour is of International importance for wildlife conservation and borders 3 nature reserves, whilst also being home to the rare 'Red Squirrel'.

Poole is of great historical interest having been used by the Romans as an Invasion port to take over the South of England, and as a result there have been historical findings with the oldest being a logboat dating back to 295 BC
