Gorgeous cottage in Mousehole, Cornwall with Aga and WiFi- sleeps 8 + cots

Our group of three generations, ranging in age from 12 to 80, enjoyed a peaceful 2 weeks in this well situated cottage. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, whilst also being able to share family time in the cosy kitchen, around the table. The house was well equipped and beautifully decorated. The owner was helpful and the housekeeper was friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with flowers on the table and fresh scones and cream...we felt instantly at home!

Mousehole is a delight, we never tired of strolling around the harbour and village. Parking was no problem, we used both the garage and the car park which was only a couple of minutes walk away, and we thought
very reasonable at 3 pounds a day! My parents used the regular bus service to Penzance on a number of occasions, and enjoyed walking back.

Our teenagers enjoyed jumping from the quay at high tide, fishing and surfing lessons at Sennen Cove. They were initially dismayed at being unable to get WiFi, but seemed to keep busy enough not to miss the internet too much!

I'd definitely recommend Loon Bennet for anyone looking for a relaxing, holiday in a very unspoilt setting. It was perfect for our family get-together!

We have just returned from a wonderful Christmas break at Loon Bennett and find it hard to fault this excellent home from home.

The house was a perfect size and layout for our larger party as it allowed space for socialising together, whilst also providing room for everyone to have their own peace and quiet (the kids enjoyed having their own separate lounge and so did we!)

The standard of decor and attention to detail makes this a really comfortable base. The house feels cosy and retains much traditional charm, but also has all the mod -cons which made our stay as relaxing and job-free as possible! The kitchen is well equiped and cooking on the Aga was a real pleasure.

The house is located right in the heart of Mousehole, near Jessie's Pasties (which were excellent) and only a brief stroll to the local pub, chippy and beach.

We had such a fantastic time at Loon Bennett. There were 8 of us and 2 small children and the house was perfect. Plenty of room while still being really cosy and relaxed. Mousehole was wonderful and very peaceful while still having a strong character and good restaurants and pub! In the run up to our stay, we asked lots of questions and were given lots of helpful advice which eased our stay a lot. We have all said we would love to go back... and we just might do that!! I would highly recommend both Loon Bennett as a house and Mousehole as a destination.
